Thematically most fitting (and best) class for Void Elves?

Thinking between Mage, Warlock & Shadow Priest. I’ve already had a couple mages, so thinking if a change of scenery would be good. Don’t know anything about Warlocks and Shadow Priests.

I would say that rogue is also fitting. Void darkness shadow and all that. (in case that you are considering melee beside those casters)

Shadow priest just goes soooo well with it, but the alternative would be wlock: if i must say: here’s my tip:

  1. Shadow priest: Fits the most thematically for a velf imo.
  2. Sub Rogue: “Shadow dance” is self explainatory XD

This :point_up_2: Anything else like Arcane Mage, Rogue, or the other Lock specs are “semi” void themed. :slightly_smiling_face: Still fitting with VE, but not “100% PERFECT fit” like those two.

Unholy utilizes the void to spread their plague

The “void” part of shadow priest is about the Old Gods and their progenitors (Void Lords). It’s the antonym to the Light and you can turn that into a whole philosophy lecture by doing Alleria’s quests on Argus. If you want another spec that comes close to this, it’s discipline priest, and that’s also the end of the list.

Demons are not related to it; on the contrary, the entire point of Sargeras’ crusade was to seize world souls before the Void Lords could corrupt them. In perhaps a twist of irony, Alleria then resorted to the void to stop the Legion.

This is my list as well. I got a Shadow/Disc priest and an Assassination rogue. Love them both.

Shadow priest is the obvious choice, followed closely by warlocks.

But who’s to say you can’t be a warrior, who uses the void to empower themselves beyond normal feats of regular men or a fire mage who’s fireball packs more then just a bit of heat?

Shadow Priest or Warlock.

For Warlock - can I advise of the Tier 4 transmog set, the “VOIDheart Regalia.” Could easily blend it with the Ren’dorei Heritage armor

Only some demons are. So if you play as a Demo Lock, you’d be primarily be summoning from the Twisting Nether, which is Fel territory. Not Void territory. :slightly_smiling_face:

If you absolutely have to be a void elf and not something amazing like a goblin…

I’d go with either a shadowy Mcstabber like the artwork

Or a MM hunter if one can get a hold of the legendary bow

What’s best though? *shrug * Hunter is always op.
