There's a Cathedral in WoW. Why not a mosque?

Keep religion out of this game. You want a mosque, go to one in real life. Intelligence has nothing to do with it.

"A strong supporter or defender of a cause: “the paladin of plain speaking” (Arthur M. Schlesinger, Jr.). 3. Any of the 12 peers of Charlemagne’s court.

Nothing at all to do with christians.

Is Catholic if anything

Bishop is a name whose history dates far back into the mists of early British times to the days of the Anglo-Saxon tribes . It is a name for a person who portrayed a bishop in a medieval play, a person with an ecclesiastical bearing, or one who had been elected as a boy-bishop for the festival of St. Nicholas’ Day.

So wrong its embarrasing.

but how do you decide what to bring to wow?
there is a real 1500 years war between sunni and shia. how are you going to implement that without high toxicity and politicians anger from different countries ?

There you go .

I suggest you do your own research in future before making troll threads about things you already posted about on your hunter .

Catholics are Christian. What’s your point?

there are over 4000 religions in the world, why islam and not one of the other 3999?

i d rather have blizzard implement religious stuff when it actually works in game and not just because. thats forced and never goes over well.

there are many cathedrals in the world, belong to many different sects. but 1 thing is common for all. all are christian sects.

the cathedral of stormwind is a structure of christian theme. there is no way around it. it is what it is.

If Ur really looking for something similar to Islam, the blood elf culture, and city architecture is inspired by the middle East, and Islam is the predominant religion in that region.

I am sorry i just reached my fill with people like him .

The world atm is so full of problems and sadness as we all know then we come to the game and forums to escape only to have it spammed in an endless torrent of toxicity and sick disruptive topics .

I can not take it anymore people who are like him so negative and intent to stir up hate and anger over the forums need to be stood up to .

Thats why i like posters like Twil he might spam nonsense but its fun and relaxing and helps to feel a little better .

The word “cathedral” is derived from the French cathédrale, from the Latin cathedra (“seat”), from the Greek καθέδρα kathédra, “seat, bench”, from κατά kata “down” and ἕδρα hedra “seat, base, chair.”

Nothing to do with Christains at all .

Cathedral is building with a cathedra ,and that would be Greek word for a nicer chair.
Yes indeed it’s mostly associated with chair aka throne for Bishop ,but doesn’t necessary needs to be,
Professor also sits on cathedra.

ya, maybe Aladdin era…
for some reason europeans think the middleeastern people are still riding camels.

To be fair, modern Catholic places of worship in the UK are absolutely nothing like the Catholic-inspired cathedral in Stormwind either.

whats your point ?

language and terms have nothing to do with what they refer to.
you wont call a castle a cathedral. you wont call the prime minister home a cathedral. you wont call the seat of the military cathedral, you wont call the parliament cathedral. etc…

but you will call the notredame cathedral a cathedral.

Because Allah is a false God and pork tastes incredibly delicious. Almost as good as human.

And what time period does wow mostly take inspiration from? Castles, swords, horses, etc… that’s right, the time period that kinda fits in with the Aladdin era

what is your point ?

It could be a catholic theme for all you know

If you want to try and troll be please do it better thanks .

Also i am not the only one to mention it so i suggest you take it up with everyone and not just me thank you .

Indeed but this person has an agenda and wants to push through religion into WoW. So I’m just going to leave it be. There really is no point, they keep coming back and starting the same topic over and over.
