Theres a new wave of premades

When i play PvP i want challenges. But playing in a random group against premade is uneven and unfair. And being in a premade is not a challenge at all, it is boring to say the least. Make randoms random, period!

Follow your own advice, boomer.
Next thing you gonna do is self-invite into a middle-school game of football.
Im tired of reading hypocrites, if you cant bring a point, keep your trolling to yourself.

Do that Larkus

I mean did he respond to his comment something wrong?

its a troll response.
You cant come in begginer brackets kick newbies and casuals in the nutts and tell them “go in this even harder bracket thought you’re already struggling learning the game”.

Yeah thats fine but still , if you want pvp challenge go rated.

This is not a troll response at all. He said he wanted a challenge, and the reply was that in that case, he should go rated. That’s the best advice he could be given.

You’re just biased because it came from a premade leader, so you’ll criticize anything he says, even when he’s right.

As for telling him to follow his own advice, if I recall correctly, he was the first RSham to reach 2400 in Blitz, 6 days into the season. So next time, if you want to be at least somewhat credible, do your research before talking nonsense.

i was 2.6, 3 days after i leveled.
cba about your spaghetti logic.
Cause the rated people imply is not Blitz to begin with. We are talking about 10v10.
People got a problem with Premades, sending solo players, newbies and casual people to rated as a premade Andy- something you should do, is gonna get called out regardless.
After all this is the core of the topic, i just brought it to center.
No need to defend him.

Agree 100%

The normal Battleground queue is for players to jump in and play against other players in a similar situation. We realize that it’s not a perfect system, and we’re still looking at ways to improve normal Battleground queues further. Regardless, it’s not meant for organized groups to “pug stomp” and get quick Honor. We have built in outlets for players that want to organize–if a competitive, social experience was really the goal, then there are clear ways to achieve that.

What is true that there’s been an increase in pre-made groups disrupting the PvP experience for other players, though. Pre-mades in the normal queue, however they are formed, are not something that we’ve ever been particularly fond of. It had become more of an issue of late, so we addressed it accordingly.

For as long as there’s been Battleground PvP, there have been players looking for a way to destroy their enemies to quickly and easily get fast rewards with a minimal time investment. That’s the bottom line here, or the variety of other options available would be more compelling.

The ultimate effect that this kind of queuing has had is to drive players away from PvP. Perhaps it’s been a long time since you’ve been in a random group, but a lot of players will see that they’re up against a premade and simply quit. At best, they suffer through it. To an extent premade groups count on this. Heck, one of the popular addons announces opposing players that appear to have rage quit.

Spend time to build a team to be farmed by boosters smurfing on low mmr?
And how do you play epic bg maps in rated? You can’t. There is only the casual version. You should be able to play casual epic bgs without running into sync premades. Groups of up to 5 players are ok, but sync premades should either play other premades in war games or RBGs.

That’s the equivalent of rival and it wasn’t even impressive at the start of the season.

Im clearly talking about randoms here, and not rbg. If i want rbg, i join rbg. Thou i want to do randoms, and there is no challenge in being in a premade group against randoms, and randoms vs premade is just uneven and unfair.

The meta is way too fast as well.

You die so easily that it is impossible to showcase any kind of skill or counterplay. It’s so boring and pointless. Everybody is the same, and your spec is the only thing that makes a difference.

At this point, to stop the premade griefing, it would actually make sense to make it impossible to queue as a party.

They should rather mix the factions. Instead of groups, sync players would synchronize single players and still get into the same round in the same team. Someone who joins with one friend does not have the same effect on an epic bg as someone who joins with a raid of 15-20 players. A measure that aims to make grouping impossible would hit small groups of friends who want to play together, not the large sync premades that really lead to imbalanced rounds. To target sync premades, mix factions and introduce a deserter debuff penalty for declining invites.

if blizz would mix factions and realm pools all together into one, just like how it works for blitz and solo shuffle it would go a long way to fix some of the issues.

though I don’t see them ever adding a ilvl requirement to que up for random bgs,
( even though there is an ilvl requirement for random heroic dungeons and LFR? )
if they did it would probably just resolve in the bg ques becoming longer than what they already are.

the least they could do would be to add some form of ilvl template if you join a bg while your ilvl is below a certain amount, cause a lot of the time players who que up in full TW gear or worse are just dead weight to the team

( hence why a lot of players don’t want to que solo )

It makes a noticeable difference this late into the season if you have 2-4 players with no gear and you’re facing a team in full gear, especially as a healer it just makes you question yourself if it’s even worth spending your mana to keep some of these potatoes alive when they get one tapped by a MM hunter

it’s been a pretty grim time to be playing bgs on alliance as someone who’d rather not merc if I can avoid it, though im aware its my own choice and at this point it feels like I’m only giving myself a handicap by chosing not to do to so, considering the high amount of alliance groups playing mercenary as of late.

I know this is also a little biased take since I don’t know what the situation is like on horde side, so I’m unaware if it feels the same way for them and there’s a handful of premades/groups they’re facing from alliance on the german/french/russian realms.

but since the faction change, changes, I’ve noticed a lot of the alliance groups & players are merc queing almost exclusively for the faster ques.
( or to dodge the pesky russian horde premades  )
it certainly hasn’t helped the situation either as it’s a lot easier to que up as merc now, so one faction quickly ends up being much more stacked than the other compared to before.

jokes aside I have no beef or blame on the russian players, it’s the system that’s at fault and not the players in this situation. though I will say its a little petty when people intentionally synch multiple groups into random bgs

so yeah, it’s not without reason people are getting bored and demoralized with random bgs when they maybe have one good & even game every 10th bg? cause that’s kind of what the vibe has felt like lately, where majority of bgs are onesided and you either stomp or you get stomped.

I suppose it being this late into the season also plays a part, as there’s likely a lot less people playing now cause they’re just waiting for the new season to start.

one last take & semi fix to the never-ending premade problem, which was already mentioned too earlier in this thread i think? would be to add a BG Blitz Skrimish mode, with a ilvl requirement :upside_down_face:

this turned out to be a little tl;dr sorry , enjoy your sunday

Why? its never been a problem before. We always had gear difference in randoms and nobody cared, its where you go to learn, gear up and have fun, its not serious pvp. If you want to play with other players in gear and who follow objectives completely
that is what RBG is for.

Yes without reason, you lost a few matches so what? If it wasn’t for premades stomping are fairly rare. Your making excuses. In random matches from vanilla onward WSG for example has always been 50-50

Suppose that is a great excuse if your a complete narcissist and only think about what you want and not that your ruining the game for other people because your basically cheating. Its fine though because you got full gear so if they don’t have full gear yet too bad your happy to stop new people breaking into pvp.

Dude we should really stop pretending gearing full greens doesnt take less than 2 bgs.
And a day would get you to semi-endgame gear in pvp.

Not to mention Alliance can just spam War Crates and get full blue gear. Entering a BG in green gear at this point of the season is inconsiderate towards your team.

But if people must, better they do it in epic BGs where they can at least drive vehicles and turrets.
