A bit chaotic. Some of those who signed up for the event didn’t show up.
We had to improvise to find enough players for the horde and had to put a lot of filler into our team to have a team that could compete, but unlike the guild before us, we managed to put up a team to challenge undefeated forever and the event wasn’t canceled.
We also had to experiment a bit until we could get everyone into the same shard so both the opponents and our own team were visible to each other in the open world. Our solution was to invite everyone to the same raid, which made healing kinda awkward when you see the health bars of your opponents go down but they are also part of your raid, but we found a solution for that too in the later rounds.
Our opponents were much better prepared than our improvised team and defeated us easily in all rounds, but that’s ok.
We just wanted to test the waters, try out a new concept. Make an event happen.
And as a format, I would say the custom game mode undefeated forever has thought up has potential. We just need to come with a better prepared team next time.
All in all rough around the edges, but a good start nonetheless. Tbh that was to be expected because we are exploring new frontiers with little past experience in doing so. Our partners are happy they had the opportunity to test their game mode with us and we will do more events like this in the future, and the more experienced we become in hosting events like this, the smoother and more fun everything will become. Larger community numbers will also help us to find better players for these events.
Try to convince him not to sync once he is back. One group is enough.
The skill advantage of people who are hardstuck on 1.6 in rated pvp?
How come it is exactly players like me and Valdrakon who are successful against the scary horde premades and defeat them on a regular basis?
That’s a coincidence and has nothing to do with what we do or the attitude with which we do things.

In every one of these rounds the people moaned and complained about the opponent “premade” from the start and what did we do? We got our s*** together, played the objective and won with just one group. Defeat a sync premade with one group? how? Because they weren’t a sync premade. They were one group aswell.
Every alliance player with a healthy attitude can do the same.
Loads of people share our sentiment and we must fight back against this resentment and slave-morality driven defeatist bs attitude that infects the minds of a lot of epic bg players.
The chad winners VS the virgin defeatists
You go to workshop, take it and coordinate a demolisher push to hangar from the south side. And if that fails a few time until your gate goes down, you turtle.
Won with both methods, many many times.
Most BG players would say you are good.
Also opponents don’t go out of their way to stop a mediocre player who is no threat.
They know you are dangerous if they leave you to your own devices.
One can overcome a disadvantage in the fight with a clever tactical maneuver.
Like backdooring the enemy boss in ashran when your team is losing, going to broken instead of sunken as a wg defender to neutralize the opponents healer advantage or pushing hangar with demos after you lost it in the first zerg. Many opponents will let their guard down after hangar is taken and only lightly defend it. If you show up with your entire team and there are few defenders, you can quickly take it, and once you have it, it is easy to hold.
Yes, most premades the alliance calls out at the start of the round are in fact not sync premades at all, but groups of up to 5 or strat callers like Emegenceree or myself who play with even fewer players.
Zenie is an actual sync premade leader though and he is present in an annoying amount of lobbies which sucks for the alliance.
I don’t think that’s the case. I for one was never a syncer and yet people constantly mistake me for a sync leader.
One alliance player said they hope that I die IRL for leading premades.
Lovely, isn’t it?
It’s more that players notice who they lose to often and lump everything into the same category. There’s a large difference between a strategy caller who joins alone or with few players, a 5 group or a full sync premade with 15-20 premade players, stacking boomies, hunters and healers.
You will never beat a real sync premade in a fight, but when it is just a leader making strategy calls, that is a different story entirely. Their team might act smarter and in a more coordinated manner than usual, but they are not impossible to defeat in a fight.
This distinction is lost on most players. They just call it a premade and that’s it.
no man, i don’t believe most of these are possible… if u don’t have 39 others listening and following, u are very VERY unlikely to overcome the first teamfight on isle, and thats actually one of the few that u have a shot at, along with ashran id say
alterac is the most unlikely
those bgs can definetly get worked ina way that the games last longer than the q for them, and are not as one sided as they become…
im not saying “if you lose hangar the game is definetly over”
but the odds of coming back from that, are nowhere enough to make most people stick around and try, its like 3 to 7, vs premades its like 0 to 10, unless the premade is so bad they somehow cannot push you turtling in base, but this happens rarely too
So you are calling out my 5/5 sync premade bs? xd
Do you play Alliance alot these days?
It feels alot like you look down on other peoples experience like its a lie.
Alliance is not unique in the way they behave though. Its the way you make it sound like Alliance players are just whiny in general.
I had exact same defeatist comments when both playing Horde and Alliance when facing syncers.
Its also people being fed up with a situation where they feel they have 0% chance of winning for too many games. I quit because I got fed up, its that simple. I dont enjoy facing any form of syncers.
People are not rly that clever, what do you expect?
Obviously, if all the other team have is a shotcaller then your team can win for sure since most leaders arent rly that good. I just dislike spamming, so the only thing I ever call out is just things like “if you die, check our boss” in ashran. “They got x base, they might attack y” in winter. Etc. But thats more personal thing.
I might try out epic bgs again in S2. I hope its not as bad again for me at the start.
All we are trying to do is to motivate and encourage people to be successful against these adversaries, I know it is a painful, slow procedure, but I am adamant that it is possible.
Sorry my experience differs, BG Enemies quickely shows composition of a team, almost all times It looks like its a premade it is, even Zado and Emergencee end up with easily 2x more heals than ally., and more boomies. Honour levels through the roof.
Emergencee the other night first fight could be just his small team, met him 4 times through night and was a full premade with usual suspects, coincidence I think not.
Cool have screenshots like this as well yet im not delusional enough to think we didnt have a small group as well in our team nor am i delusional enough to not be able to tell when they are really just a small group with 35/37 actual Puggies and not multiple 5 stacks thrown in the same Map.
Best to just ask do we have a premade here as well and just leave instead of feeding them 9/10 wins and thinking the 1/10 Win matters.
5 is not fine it is not good sportsmanship in a 10 man bg against pugs
You can say it’s allowed by the rules but it’s unethical if PvP communities do that all day
THAT’S WHY people complain endlessly on forums and will continue to do so until blizzard change their rules and enforce them to give a better PvP environment for solo and casual players
Reducing this number of 5 is not the correct solution anyway
Enforcing unranked blitz BG-style MMR would be much better
Making parties of 5 players with wide variety of skill level wouldn’t make any difference in practice under this system, but premades stacking 2100+ players like Pandora’s (or one of those with cyrillic letters) would get sent to one hell of a waiting queue. While they waste their time waiting 1h for a 2100 MMR queue pop (fighting among themselves), the rest of the player base would be able to enjoy fair games at 1500.
Yes. More than enough rounds a day for the alliance to conclude that the alliance is seeing ghosts, that is, premades where there is at most a 5-group or a strategy caller in the horde team.
That’s exactly the point. You are NOT facing sync premades most of the time unless it is Zenie or Larkus, but groups of up to 5 or shot callers, and against them, your chances to win aren’t 0%, like when facing sync premades, but much higher.
But if your team moans and gives up instead of giving them a fight at the sight of their name alone, you make this chance 0%.
And that is entirely on your team for being defeatists.
That at least those players who read this finally learn this important difference and stopped crying premades when there are none.
Out of the 3 matches I had against Zado in the last two weeks, I’ve defeated him every single time. Against Laota I’ve had a fair win rate and only lost some matches because some defeatists in my team threw the game at the start at the sight of her name, because you know…“pREmAdE”.
Those with a healthy attitude can CONSISTENTLY defeat these kinds of opponents or at least give them a good run for their money.
And if anyone claims that I’m just bragging, let me say once again that this is not about me, because everyone can do the same.
The last time I met and defeated Zado in Ashran the dps in his team was downright pathetic with a prot warrior bein 3rd in damage for the horde team.
I actually gotta give him credit for holding out so long against us with such a terrible team.
I wish I could show you a screenshot of that round too, but sadly I only took a screenshot of the scoreboard sorted by healing.
I meet him in every other team because he just plays a lot of epics nowadays. In all sorts of teams and always with different people apart from those in his group.
There aren’t that many lobbies opening up at a given time. Last night I ended up in Zenie’s team in Ashran for the horde, coincidence? I think yes, because being carried to a free win is the opposite of what I want when I play epics and I would never join them voluntarily. I immediately left.
Much higher. I only win the first fight at hangar with a probability of say 55% and I have 78% wins in total. It is not skewed very much by deserting and even the times I left after the first fight are evened out by the already started rounds I got put in.
That means at least every third victory I had was not because we just won hangar and sailed smoothly to victory, but because we clawed our way back to it after an initial setback, either by a demo push or by turtling or by other means.
Half of the time we lost the first fight at hangar, we manage to turn It into a success.
Why don’t you just play blitz? It’s superior to random bg in every way and you don’t even have to care about your rating. It just ensures that you get opponents that are roughly around your skill level.
Did you know? Unranked BG blitz no longer exists.
Play the rated version as if it was unrated and ignore your rating.
This is how I treat solo shuffle.
Yes and as a alliance mainplayer you face zxdo in the morning 3-4 times per day not 3 matches in 2 weeks lol do you think anyone would complain if that would be the case? no. Mind you apart from Zxdo theres also a Community Group from the Zxnie Squad in the Queue with the usual Lxrkus fanboys/whales.
I don’t even mind Zxdo since its very obvious who queues with him and what needs to be in your Team to counter it,you either have it or not.
It sucks quite obv if he lands in the same Map with the Zxnie Group and thats where you can, even as a resiliant Player, throw the towel. Or they sync idk idc.
The Problem with Alliance is people are fixated on the Leaders names. You can throw them against the entire Zxnie Squad in one bg missing that very Leader, and they think omg its another new Premade. No its not.
For example yesterday they had two split groups, hijacking 2 maps and the third was occupied by other Hordeminipremades. First thing i read in the chat was omg its wxxds premade like??? i spent more time explaining what splitruns are(and that they just play against 1 part of the Z com) than playing this obviously lost game. People just don’t have pattern recognition nor can they remember more than 1-2 Names apparantly.
And this is getting preyed on
Ya we did exactly that, granted we didnt always win yet we wasted enough time fighting this.
Apparantly enough People were fed up with Pug Quality so they ran to lxrkus Com which is fine dont care, but than this warry came and snatched up the last remaining decent Pugplayers(that were open to the premade yourself idea) and everything went downhill quite fast. Which is fine, what is not fine tho? Not having Pug v Pug matches but prerigged matches were you are already in a disadvantage. If you want to fight them be my guest.
I’m not sweating in a entry level random Mode of the game more than i ever did in any acutal Rbg or arenagames. Let people get stomped day in day out they wont bother with this bracket nor will they ever set foot in any rated Mode if they already make this bad experience in a Nonrated Area.
i get what u mean and have been saying this over and over again the bracket is dead and you will always face the same people.
I wait for s2 and the Inflation of “i need gear” People and see if fair matches increase because right now my queue is plagued no matter what time of a day i play and its suffocating
Does it matter how often?
I’ve tanned his hide before and I’ll tan his hide again, no matter how often I meet him.
I will either defeat him or give him a run for his money.
Bring it on, I’m not afraid. I will play him 100 times in a row. I don’t care.
I read this word and think “What is this? A group of up to 5 players?”
-Beatable
→ Play.
My queue, whenever I play alliance, is plagued with defeatists who throw the tower too early.
Yes it does, because you tend to decline experience and opinions from people who play ten times more than you.
While you can play 2-3 BGs and automatically think your experience is the norm and the only truth.
Funny, either you are unlucky then or have some biased delusion on this, cuz in the last 20 epics I played the last 3 days there were maybe 3 times people who did that or even only asked IF its a premade again…how come?
Sounds fun, even if the phasing is annoying. Kinda lame that you have to be on the same raid as your enemy to be on the same shard.
I am just one of the many people in the community and have no convincing power. Plus I don’t think it is fair for Alliance sync premades to stop, while Horde ones farm Epic BGs daily.
Do you enjoy the current MMR system in BG Blitz? Is this how you would want your random BGs to be?
For me BG Blitz has long wait times compared to normal BGs and winning (and as a result increasing your MMR) often seems RNG based on the team you are with. I’m not ignoring my own impact on the BG, of course me being average also impacts the BG. But even so, there is a huge luck factor.
I just had a Deephaul Ravine vs a team of Cyrillic names and one of our healers left before the BG even started, so we were one player short.
On top of that we had an afk Rogue in greens who said he was checking his tmog when called out on being AFK…we did lose unsurprisingly, but if we had a normal second healer and normal DPS instead of the Rogue we would have won.
Does it matter how often you face Zado when every time you meet him he is just with one group unless he is also with Zenie?
No, it does not matter.
Does he cheat when he plays with one group or is he unbeatable?
No he is not.
Is a Zado PrEmADe the reason you lose to him?
No, you can outplay his group.
Should you mention you are up against Zado to your team?
No, play the game.
Do you want me to send you a compilation of screenshots every time someone writes a defeatist comment about premades the second they spot a certain name in the other team? Give me a week to play and I will send you a whole album of over 50 screenshots.
In that round against Laota on wintergrasp there were 4 people right from the start who cried “premade again -_-” and “Laota premade”
Others were complaining about our raid leader who tried his best and how long it took us to win. So ungrateful.
Yes. Its very slow because its more old ppl in epic bgs than new. So the “Scar” from obvious issues will take quite awhile to fix. Silence from blizz isnt doing much either.
Banning syncers in general would motivate more ppl to play epics again which could make the healing process faster. Just saying.
Ah yes. So you are calling out my own experience as bs.
Timelines matters alot, just saying. at 01-04 is the times where I have been usually able to play with higher chance of not facing a sync.
During the days ive had higher chance since ppl like Zenie no-lifes it.
How many hours per day? At which point of the day? Do you play when zenie is not for example and concludes its ghosts?
What you experience might not be what other ppl experience. I have already pointed out my own experience which apparently are just bs and fabricated according to your statement of sync premades being rare.
Or you are either being extremely massively lucky, being dodged or anything…
Or I am extremely unlucky.
I sometimes meet Zenie and everyone knows its a sync premade and you have no chance. In this case I don’t mind people who complain because it is a genuine sync premade and you will lose every fight.
The other times when neither Zenie nor his premade members are in the round and the team cries premade anyway, it’s a misidentification.
The problem is you have no clue how often ppl face Zenie either. So I asked what timeframe you play etc just to have some form of understanding where your experience comes from when you play on Alliance.
Its mostly only 1-3 ppl I see at any given time whining about premades.
Which ppl also did on horde when I played there.
Defeatists are in both sides. Not just in Alliance. Not just in Horde.
You are also not helping when you try to smash other peoples experience as fabricated when you have no clue what they are getting into. Basically giving ppl like me who suffered from it the middle finger.
