That’s so stupid. Warglaives should have been 1H swords.
IT’S FRIDAY YAY!!!
Guns?
Agility Daggers?
These have been issues in the game before warglaives were introduced. Warglaives are just the latest member of the “One class” weapon types.
I know technically once upon a time rogues and warriors used guns, but their ability to do so was removed some time ago, effectively making them hunter only, and agility dagger have been the preserve of rogues (yes, technically enh shaman can use them, but realistically they’ve never been optimal for them) for a very long time.
More classes that use guns, bows and daggers would be cool.
Oh get over yourself. I’m sick of seeing this! Warglaives are a demon hunter weapon if you want them make a demon hunter and stop moaning.
Huh, aren’t Shamans able to use those, or is it only if paired with a shield? I’ll have to try that out.
I gotta admit, it would be pretty sweet to see a Warrior roll in with a gun and use it to either pummel people, or as a shotgun and blast people to bits in short-range bursts.
Back in my day hunters also could use agi daggers when they had to alternate between melee and ranged
“thats a hunter weapon I need it”
Druid use daggers as well.
Fixed that for you.
yeah what I mean by “use” isn’t “technically can” but actually “does use it, and it can be meaningful”. As far as I am aware druids don’t actually use agility daggers as a weapon of choice because they can’t equip two of them (correct me if I am wrong, but I thought druids used agility polearms and staves as their primary weapons of choice for bear and cat)? Shaman don’t because they work poorly with WF and a lot of shaman attacks (SS, LL) work off weapon damage instantly which means slower weapons work better, and survival does not because survival abilities require two-handed melee weapons, not one-handed ones. So although druids and hunters and shaman can use agility daggers, the fact is they actually don’t, and if one of these classes rolled against a rogue who needed an agility dagger they’d be considered a ninja of sorts if i’m not wrong?
So when say an agility dagger drops in a raid, only rogues get excited by it. Also I do believe that druids, hunters and shaman do not receive agility daggers within their personal loot tables, indicating this weapon type is not intended for their proper use? I could be wrong on druids as I lack experience at max level with feral and guardian.
In this way you can argue that ability daggers are “only for rogues” because for other classes, they’re pretty much not obtainable in current content and thus they’re reduced to a bizarre vanity item.
Same for guns and bows. Effectively meaning these weapon types, take up a slow on a bosses’ loot table and yet only one class (and not even all of their specs) uses said item. Which is weird.
Solutions:
Rework sub as a ranged damage spec that uses guns, bows and crossbows.
Allow survival hunters the option of dual-wielding and have this DWing style work better with two fast weapons, encouraging the use of daggers. So the hunter either embodies the “mighty bear” approach of big slow hits with a spear, or the “frenzied animal” approach of quick flurries and stabs.
Irrelevant. With me, it’s Friday everyday.
They don’t use Agi daggers. They use Int daggers with an offhand in Resto and Balance. You could technically use an Agi dagger on Feral and Guardian, but there are no Agi offhands in the game that a druid could use, so you would be stuck with literally half a weapon.
Lol how about blood elves they can be DH too.
Its also Rompuche
Double friday!
Bored with seeing your pollution all over the forum OP.
but the legendaries were usuable for Warrior, Rogue, DKs, Monks.
LONG Before the DH class was even added.
Then dont read peoples posts if it upsets you .
The weapons in BT are
1)swords
2)can be equipped by dk/dh/rogue/warrior/monk if blizzard were that bothered they should have removed them from the loot table.
3)you have no right to tell another what they can or cannot post. I might not like the OP or agree with some of his posts but he has every right to a view.
That isnt a valid answer and you are being obtuse .
In Lore if you follow it only nelfs used glaives please stop posting inane trolling posts thanks.
I remember waaaaaay back being yelled at a hunter because my party leader gave me the rifle from ICC and I was a warrior.
Then raid leader linked him the gun and he said yeah but it’s agi… oh. Strength. Few months later Blizzard took ranged off warriors and made all guns agility. I cant remember its name off hand, stake thrower or something
The feral weapons from legion counted as MH/OF agi daggers so technically your not right.
Do you baguette?
