Complaining that MMORPG is too time-consuming is like complaining that snow is cold :laughing:

Its almost like people dont realiese this expansion is probably going to be the major new content for the next 2 years.
If you get everything in the first month what are you going to do for the next 1yr and 11mths?

or how sand is corse and rough, + it gets everywhere…

For me, I would say I’m casual in content running. 2 raids a week, random m+ with firends and quests.

Some of the days I don’t do all the quests or run the maw. I’m enjoying not being starved of content while casually playing.

Thats an attitude I really dont understand. Its not supposed to be a game you ‘win’ after playing for 16hrs, its an MMORPG that is designed for you to spend time in and develop your character.
Why only play for a month?

TBH Ive long thought that WoW needs a PVP/high end raid section totally seperate from the RPG elements. Just let the people who only care about numbers do their thing and let the general player base enjoy their experience as well.

The less loots is only a problem for pug players and for selfish players. This week I cleared 10/10 heroic nathria and 2/10 mythic with my guild, I only got 1 single piece of loot, but I’m not complaining because the guild still got a total of 36 loots that increased the power of our team by a lot, so next week it’s going to be faster and easier, also more people will be able to trade loot.

Never understood this line myself… I’m closing in on 31 and i have 8hrs to play on weekdays and 16 or so hrs to play on weekends.

What makes “Not being a teenager” change about life and freetime? I’ve never found it yet.

I don’t have to read the replies to know that you are going to be explained:

  • is a MMORPG is supposed to be the most important thing in your life by the kids and unemployed people with nothing in their life that play 40+ hours per week;

  • is a MMORPG and is still possible to play hardcore for 20-40 hours or casual because job and girlfriend 20-40 hours per week;

  • is a MMORPG and is possible to play hardcore 10-20 hours per week or casual 10-20 hours per week because job, girlfriend;

They all going to agree that is healthy to play 10 hours or more per week (although will be a few stings between people that know each other from other topics) and is written in MMORPG rules of the Ancient Ones.

A few replies will explain to you that MMORPG is like this and you should play other games, because addiction doesn’t let you see that there is possible to do something else in life than playing computer games.

People that play 1 -10 hours every 2 weeks are not going to reply in your topic. Is not gangsta to say on a MMORPG forum that you have a life and 5 hours per week is still a lot for one activity, you are seen as the weirdo with social life and other interests (what is wrong with you?) and most of them stopped playing.

No, you just have to embrace you dont have enough time for this kind of games and adjust your playstyle accordingly to be happy with the game.
Or dont embrace it, keep playing the same way and let frustration grow.

Well if you do 1 mythic + you get an unlock from the vault next week but yea if you don’t keep up you won’t get a group to do it so I do agree overall

ye … you had to…

thats why guilds started raiding and cleared MC with ease in quest greens and on level 57-58 without even hitting max level

because you “had to” :slight_smile:

Let’s all of us quit our jobs and become full time streamers.
It seems the game is made for these people.

Games are something you do in your “free” time. And your life, relationships with real life people,work go without saying before gaming. So yes if you can only play a few hours a day you might wanna only do those things jauxer mentioned or play something that is less time consuming.

And to be honest I would trade with you in a sec because believe me sitting home all day long having to much time is not the dream either I know because i have been at home for the last 6 or 7 months thanks to corona.
