They don’t solve it, but it does have an impact on it. But it also has a negative impact on how the game is played, increasing the amount of boosters even more.

Calm down, the token found can perfectly be the one they’ve had available in China for most of Vanilla Classic.
It’s easier to have it in the code for all versions and turn it on/off than having to patch it in and out for each region.

I hope it doesn’t get introduced in the rest of the regions (Americas, EU, etc) , let’s keep it only in retail.

and even if that is the case its alrady affecting EU servers because chinese gold sellers come to our servers instead.
instead of combating them they add token, great solution!

1: Gold sellers that will definitely ruin the in-game economy?

2: A WoW token that lets everyone get gold without ruining the economy to the same extremes as gold sellers and botters do?

Nothing of them, why is that so hard to understand?
It is Blizzard’s Job to fix the Gold seller issue, not to bandaid fix it with a Token and ruin it even more!

The WoW token is another convenience, not a P2W item. It gets you get gold in a legit way.

A convenience for what? Because it lets you skip gametime for a game that you are actively paying for?
Why would you do that? Is the game so bad, you want to skip it?
If you want to pay to skip major parts of the game, maybe you shouldn’t PLAY the game.

If you don’t see a “winning” in getting gold with real money, you probably played too many mobile games and don’t see it anymore.
(Gold can literally buy EVERYTHING in a game like TBC. Including the highest PvE and PvP Gear. Because the boosting services will explode with the token, just like Retail)

P2W is when the game has a cash shop that sell gear (armor/trinkets/weapons etc) with stats that gives you a clear advantage over other players in PVP.

It does that indirectly because it allows buying money and it allows boosting ingame. How can you not get that? Look one step ahead, holy hell.

There is no P2W when it comes to PVE, since end-game content is the main reason people play, where everyone is working towards the same goal aka killing bosses for loot.

Wrong again. In Retail everything is flooded with “curve” or mythic raid boosts. And you can officially buy it with tokens.

-blizzard will make 20 euro instead of 13 for each month game time.

i dunno about you, mister, but i have lost count on how many times i have seen “LFM [Raid/Premade] NO BOOSTED PLAYERS PLS” and “NO COMMUNAL GEARED ACCEPTED” in lfg/world chat.
not to mention that i’ve lost count on how many bgs i have lost due to the fact boosted andys wearing green trash are littering the bgs, taking up a slot (and wasting it completely because they can’t do ****) and acting like they aren’t harming their group directly.

It’s a PvP realm so I would expect that anyway. They will probably squish a level 23 anyway.

TBH I welcome the boost now… the amount of dim witted idiots who can’t play the boosted class is unreal, easy pickings in the real world for pvp, as for the mount… still think it looks ridiculous, should have done a Felboar instead! I play UD Lock on my main so best tactic is keep on fearing them over and over until they die humliating death from DOTS. Their gear is so crap that it works every time
