This is beyond a joke

It’ll be P2W in TBC.
Especially since a lot of pieces are BoE in TBC.

There’s way worse p2w games than those 2 xD.

The same fun you will have once token drops. P2w heaven

Also. Funny you call sony thieves while you pay activi$$$$ion :joy:

No one is talking about Sony. You might actually want to know what people are discussing before commenting.

@OP You might still live in your parents basement with no job 17 years later, but some people have moved on and have real lives now to manage as well…

The game starts at max level for a lot of people, leveling is just a chore - boosts make it easier for older returning players to fit some nostalgia into their busy schedules

The mount is ugly sure, but it also encourages newer players to try the game how it used to be, and you can’t get TCG items anymore, so it fills in for that to some extent. It isn’t providing an advantage

Go sweat some more on a private server if you don’t like it, some people just like the end game content.

mmmkay so you’re one of those people with 9 kids, 2 wives, 2 9-5 jobs and about 2 seconds a week to play arguing for convenience because you “don’t have the time to play”.

have you thought that maybe if you don’t have the time, you just shouldn’t play the game at all?

the fact you can’t find time in your busy irl schedule to play doesn’t mean we dumb the game down to the point of the people who do have time to play, leaves the game because of continuous amounts of p2w features (like the boost and possibly the maybe-implementation of the dreaded wow token).

How is boosting P2W? Don’t get me wrong, it makes the game easier, but it is hardly game breaking

You might have plenty of time to play, good for you, but when it comes to a raid and the server population is diminishing, you’d be thankful of people who otherwise simply wouldn’t be able to play, who have boosted

I’m pretty sure the battlenet account balance is region locked and cannot be used in other regions.

dude… for real… you can’t work out how skipping 58 levels that would otherwise take a about a week or two of hardcore time investment, planning and farming is p2w?

and yes, it IS gamebreaking for those who don’t wanna carry the burden of these boosties, in bgs in particular. their presence in a bg directly affects our teams chances of winning negatively, in the extreme.
just 2 boosted andys present in i.e WSG is almost a guaranteed loss unless you’re lucky enough that the opposing faction also has 2 or more boosted andys, in which case they sort of cancel eachother out… but if they don’t… well you might as well just throw in the towel because you’re not winning an 8v10.

but when it comes to a raid and the server population is diminishing, you’d be thankful of people who otherwise simply wouldn’t be able to play, who have boosted

nah m8, i’m good. people can level the normal way if they want to play. boosting has no place in TBC and i would gladly sacrifice some player numbers to get rid of it.
if you can’t be bothered to even level your character, what makes you think you’ll be bothered to do attunements etc.?

half of the boosted andys are tourists who will leave the game in a few weeks and the other half are going to be a burden on everyone they associate/group with for months to come.

How about you mind your own business?

nay i’ll post what i want.

kinda hard to mind my own business when boosted andy here is promoting features that has a direct impact on my business, so no **** off.

Spotted the angry neckbeard. Kinda hilarious to see all those angry so called adults parroting stuff like

like little sheep.

ahh yes ok, namecalling. good one, haven’t seen that one before.
how about you refute my arguments or take a hike.

Crying about namecalling when you’re the one doing it aswell, how typical. You’re just one of the sad people who has nothing going on in their lives than World of Warcraft and get angry when people have a different opinion than you when it comes to a 16 year old videogame. You’re the definition of sad.

boosted andy is a term used to describe noobs who p2w. its not namecalling, andy.

Yes, we all know by now people like you like to be condescending to people who don’t share the same opinion. Kinda funny. so called adults yet still act like little children and get mad over a 16 year old videogame.

its not that you “don’t share my opinion” its that you are deliberately promoting ruining the game by advocating for p2w features that awards NOT playing the game, which is the antithesis of what an MMORPG is.

also how do you know i’m a so called adult? i could be 13 for all you know.

Except I haven’t, I’m actually against all the stuff they added. What I’m more against is, is people like you with their superiority complex towards fellow gamers who don’t share your opinion.

Ye, I’m sure you started playing WoW the moment you were born, according to your achievements.

so you’re just white knighting then? lol simp.

i haven’t played retail in any serious manner since WoD, skipped cata, mop, legion, bfa and shadowlands and back when tbc and wotlk were retail i was a noob myself who had no clue what i was doing, however that has changed by now.

really says a lot about your mentality when you judge people based on their achievements (or lack thereof) in retail. but then again, i heard thats what everyone does there.

If you mean that white knighting means standing up against toxic behaviour against fellow gamers, then I’ll take that as a compliment. You also seem to be throwing out random buzzwords while not being able to place them in the right context.

You’re really something special, aren’t you. No one was judging you based on your achievements, you made a comment about maybe being 13 years old and you have achievements dating back to 2008, which means if that was true, you would be 0. It’s telling that a common trend amongst you angry people is that you tend to make stuff up all the time. I wonder why that is.

But please do continue being condescending towards people who do enjoy retail. Welcome to World of Warcraft, where fans of the game hate on other fans of the game.

You’re assuming that every “boosted Andy” as you call them, are new to the game and don’t know how to play.

Furthermore, how is a “boosted Andy” different in terms of pulling a team down, than a freshly dinged 60 who sweated it out? Both need to gear up, and both are fairly useless against a geared team…
