trust me those 4 seconds until they instantly focus me and nuke me down because I opened on healer won’t make a big difference. because they are only decoy while 2 druids in travel form run for the flag and if someone comes near their radar they just apply sprint that is faster than a freaking mount.

If my random BGs would have healers as well, yes we can make difference. but when 9/10 games horde (my team) has 0 healers, and ally have 2-3 healers… there is just no point.

So I wait 20 mins for BG (record was 53 mins) that we lost under 10 minutes, for 1 mark. And during this BG I do ambushes for 400 dmg into mage, once a day I manage to make ambush for 1k.

sorry where the part where i said you never ever ever ever suppose to die? i dont think i said that. nobody unless they are extremely passive or unlucky will not get killed once or twice in group fights if your to scared to sacrifice dps or get killed so you can cc a healer and get the other team wiped then you did a good job dying or not… what do you not understand about TEAM GAMES

your own fault for using ambush… everyone and his dog knows you use multilate… then envenom or eviserate… think you are having a skill issue here today

Bro i play battlegrounds and horde always have healers, i actually dont think ive done a bg without a healer soo…

its all about building combo points and maintaining them not about how much damage you can do in 2 seconds… your a rogue use your brain play smart not like a warrior

so why does people like perplexity that is marked as “god of rogue” use ambush => spam mutilate talents.

you play how you can play, you obviously cannot play the ambush build, the majority of rogues all use multilate only… you know why becuase its easier and requires less skill… try it you might get somewhere

Lucky them, I get 5 rogues in the team, 2 warriors and 3 other classes that does not heal.

Priest healed himself and watched me dying from DoTs asked for heal and he just mounted and went away.


btw so far (thankfully) I killed all envenoming rogues that tried to stunlock me from stealth and then after stun was gone they did envenom, yet I survived, popped evasion and nuked him back to GY.

Envenom is luck-dependent because posison apply chance, with poison build you even less survivability.

There is no time in the current one-shot meta to build up poison stacks for envenom. People literally nuke you down from behind with spells while you try to build up your CP for stuns and envenom as well. Might work in duels…

Eviscerate might work well, but its crit chance is awful, mutilate does more damage.

Between eyes is a nice middle ground between stun and eviscerate, because deals solid damage and stuns the target as bonus even from range.


And don’t forget as an ally, you forget how powerful hooman racial is. I am trying to get behind hooman priest or paladin or whatever and they see me (even with improved stealth talent 5/5) coming at them and just stun/fear/whatever me. I am really questioning if that talent even works.

Hooman warrior just jumps down from mount and charges me, I am like WTF! Hooman rogues all the time stunning me from stealth. those hoomans… and there are a lot of hoomas in BG.

Just by being rogue my stealth is countered by how many classes hoomans have?

Now imagine a 5 man group, 3 hoomans, 1 dwarf hunter shooting flares everywhere… there is no way to sneak up on group like that.

Yes and don’t forget, people use random AoE abilities that DONT DEAL DAMAGE and yet it reveals rogues (battle shouts, roars,…)

Eviscerate literally is a waste of energy. It hits for less than a mutilate. Like If you pop a eviscerate In a raid it does such insubstantial damage it’s hard to know it’s even gone off lol

I know that’s why i don’t use it. if it would crit, it would do nice damage as its fixed amount and not weapon based. but it wont replace mutilate crits that has 30% more crit chance as evs

Rogue is in a sad place and need a revamp.
10th dps for a single target dpser who brings 0 utility is not OK. Rogue should be in the top3

Pvp wise, rogue is F tier.
Think about it, shamans got 30% more HP, 6% reduced crit from all source, 10% less damage taken from all source : with only 1 rune!
Rogue has to equip 2 runes to get 20% reduced PHYSICAL damage (and spend combo points to even activate it… LOL).

Mutilate at 40 energy was an emergency small fix, but even with that, rogues can’t even Dent Woe shamans, Shadow priests , Meta locks…

Rogues needs shadowblades, cloack, a buffed gloomblade to compete

Waiting for next blue posts and unntil I find out about new Runes and content. Will prob do the same. Waste of time as A melee atm , first thing they gave hunters phase 1 is kings.

Every class got buffs/ utility. We still got nothing and nr 10 on gnome dps. Before you say Well melee are struggling in gnome.

No warriors still blasting over 1 k on 4/6 bosses , ret palas,melee hunters, 2 shaman specs.

Still waiting for changes for the rogue class.
Same toolkit with 5 min cds. Shadowstep with GCD , ranged stun shares cd with ur stuns allready. What else ? Deadly brew and envenom for pve ?

3 Rune slots for tanking where other classes need to take 1 for the same effect. People talking about frost and hunter ranged beeing bad. You atleast have A top 3 dps specc viable.

While rogues got 0 atm for pve , and in this burst meta rogue stuns and alowly killing people doesnt work.

Current datamining is showing just en noergy and CP generation runes. Of which is just copy and pasted from later versions of wow

Still think simple changes could be
Make envenom whilst you have deadly brew equipped apply the 6% magic damage increase debuff during the envenom buff rogue gets. Nice raid debuff changes nothing for the rogue

Change slaughter from the shadows to decrease all opportunity spells and increase bleed damage by X%. Backstab increases rupture duration (like wrath glyph) which slaughter from the shadows is equipped any active rogue bleeds apply X% increased physical damage on target

That and un-nerf saber slash. Even if you changed it to 115% weapon damage it probably would make it much closer to compete with mutilate. (Apart from daggers are so easy to get this phase)

But would give 3 different PvE builds. 2 raid wide debuffs that would be easily accessible and wouldn’t be game breaking.

Doesn’t even break PvP with these changes tbh

Hunters, warriors, rogues have the same issue, overpopulated classes that nobody realy cares about.

Dude I have seen your posts and you have some kind of problem with rogues, you constantly write on various posts how rogues are terribly OP and those who play them are bad at PVP.

Somehow I couldn’t find a single character on your account that should be a respectable PVP rank on classic or retail. So why do you have such a need to correct people and their opinions? When you don’t take into account anything people write. Whether they were written by people who had a gladiator or by newcomers.
