Seriously how is it so hard for Blizzard to understand this, you’re literally implementing the WORST part of retail into our Classic game. We were all so stupid to trust them when they PROMISED no more layering after phase 1.

This layering bull$hit is done for raid loggers so that they can log on at raid time instead of logging in 30 mins or 1 hour earlier to wait in the queue like everyone else because they “cba” to wait.
Don’t see any other reason to it. Most people are in lockdown, are not busy and have nothing to do so waiting in a 1 hour queue when you literally have nothing else going in your day is not really a problem. Just open the wow client an hour earlier, get into the queue and do something else with your day until you’re in the game.
What I find funny is that the developers at blizzard never learn lol. They value these raid loggers so much for some reason. You know what happens when you base decisions to cater to raiders? Wod happens where 5m+ subscibers stop playing the game in a span of 6 months. I’m not playing on a server that is affected by this issue but it’s enlightening and funny to see the same mistakes happening over and over again.

Not really.
LFR, Transmog, LFD, KF Pandas, Fox pokemon, Welfare Epics, Homogenized Classes, Everyone-can-heal-stun-breakstuns-bubble & outDPS-rogues-at-the-same-time are much more important reasons why I uninstalled Retail and never went back.
Honestly, layering is like item 20 in my sh*t list. LFR, pandas, pokemon and welfare epics piss me off much more.

I guess you just don’t understand what he’s saying. He’s not exactly saying every class has a bubble now. He’s saying every class has almost the same whatever nowadays and there is no class identity anymore, which is absolutely true.

Firemaw had 4-5+ hour queues, so if you don’t work… it’s fine.
Not that I’m part of them, but if you don’t play ALL day, they wouldn’t be able to play.

I agree. Layering is the lesser evil compared to queues.
I disagree, and I play on the same server as you. Blizzard has said it themselves, layering is not in the spirit of Classic and shouldn’t be used. They guaranteed us that layering would be removed after launch, stating themselves that world bosses combined with layering would be ridiculous. Layering also allows tons of abuse that otherwise wouldn’t be possible, and as others have said here, it introduces issues with world buffs. I also did not like the 4 hour queues (I work fulltime even during the current Covid-crisis), but they are a direct result of Blizzard’s past and current mistakes. Instead of trying to fix their mistakes, they go the easy road en enable tech they had promised is us would never be re-introduced to classic, paving the way for a fully layered AQ launch, and people like you applaud them for it.

Strange i have still not saw warriors using infernal for increasing Chaos Bolt damage during the duration of the first, or rogues using RoP before starting their combustion rotation.

I agree that only full realms should have layering. Using layering on even small/medium servers is not okay and should be avoided!
