My question is are nerubians really so close to spiders that a mode is really needed to change it to makrura instead?

It’s not the nerubians that seem to be the problem for most people, it’s the whole host of long legged spider models being added that creep people out. Once the feature exists may as well cast as wide a net as possible to benefit people with more severe arachnophobia.

Some of the new Nerubians are probably more the issue. Although I have friends who have always hated the little flappy ones that fly around.

Wow had spiders for 20 years and its suddenly a problem? Arachnaphobia didnt just get invented, it existed 20 years ago too. Nah, i dont buy it, this isnt about arachnaphobia, its about pandering to the fragile curling generation

I would want them around, if they didn’t have those icky tendrils, ugly hooves, silly horns and stupid accents. Otherwise draenei are fine, sure.

I have one from Zereth Mortis I think. My friend makes funny noises at me if it comes up on my random mount selection.

I used to have aracnophobia. Severe even. I began trembeling and crying just from a seight of a small one far away
I went into terapy and can now kill them. Even the big ones.

Virtuel ones never bothered me but I feel for ppl who have this to struggle with

I don’t plan to use it but I am not against it.

I don’t mind if it should be spread out. I prob won’t use them myself but not against it.
