Tier 3 fun detected

Must be less than a 1% drop chance per dented item. Whilst I can sort of see the reasoning for this, it’s also something I personally wouldn’t sit and farm for more than a year on which is how likely its long to take.

I see. You can never make a WoW player happy.

It’s my opinion, as stated. I’m not saying others won’t enjoy grinding for a year on multiple characters in the same obnoxious dungeon.

Sure, at least T3s are back, they wanted it, and now they have it, but WoW players are still unhappy.

Impossible.

Did you honestly think you can have everything so easily?

Earn it.

I think that even though will lose value the longer the patch goes it ok to make it a low chance.
I don’t have T3 but I don’t mind grinding for it. Would be boring if every single player would be running with the same mog, wouldn’t it?

A part from Warrior and Mage T3, I feel like the others were ‘cool’ cause were rare and not cause were ‘actually cool’.

I already ran through about 100 dented shoulders and got nothing there, not even phylacterweave like some people. I just want to know the odds, raw gold wise I don’t care as 2.8 million is not much considered how much a full T3 set goes on BMAH.
It’s just that I don’t really like putting my work into someone else’s hands since undeath metal must be created by a person who already has T3.
The plus side is that with time more people will have T3 so more crafters to make undeath metal.

Doesn’t matter which one your intention is, I recommend waiting some more time to buy or sell them, because they will be less likely to sell or very expensive/early to buy.

At the end of the day, they are two-pixel transmog sets.

For an old ugly set?
Well… Kinda yeah. Easier than this nonsense anyway.

But whatever… I don’t need any of that old crap, so I’m not going to bother.
Players not bothering means less reasons to keep subbed. Blizzard’s loss.

Hey! The priest set still looks amazing to this day  ofc that’s an opinion.
I get why they made it so expensive, after all some people paid more than double for it in bmah. I just have a small issue with the low % they can convert to lamented pieces, especially since we need to grind a lot of other mats for it.

I don’t.

So what? They paid that because they thought it was worth that. Their choice.
We shouldn’t have to suffer because of their poor choices.

This grind + the cost + the fact you need to find someone else with a specific requirement, makes all of it WAY over the top for something as mundane as old armor pieces (whether you like them or not).

It’s a prime example of Blizzard never really being able to do things with moderation.
It’s been like that since forever.

That I agree with.

Right now it’s easier to try your luck at bmah I feel. Which is what I’m doing too.

around 1-2 % yea

Don’t be selfish, people paid a lot of paycheck money for their tier 3 and corrupted ashbringer-having accounts! Just swipe and earn it like they did!!

Or just find a way to get a stable income ingame? Not that hard even.

If you cant afford it its because of your poor choices not design issue. Make more gold per hour or more real money and just sell tokens for gold, its simple. €200 are not even that much anyway. Its far easier with the new system than with just bmah. At bmah you never really know how much you are going to pay when an item is for sale. You might pay 100k or you might pay goldcap and if price is high you might skip the item more than once. At least with the new system you know exactly how much you pay in advance.

Its supposed to be an expensive transmog. You don’t want to pay for it, no issue, just skip it. There are tons of transmog in game.

Obviously if someone plays on a dead server might have better luck at bmah due to lower prices but also dead server means almost zero chance of finding a crafter. However on a high pop server you will find easier crafters but prices at bmah are higher than crafting the items.

That’s completely beside the point.
I don’t want to spend gold on it (certainly not an amount like that); because I simply don’t think it’s worth it.

And that’s a mistake.
It has no business being expensive. It’s old and ugly; just like all the other gear that we can just run old raids for. Literally no different.

But I wouldn’t even be against SOME extra work; but not to the degree that Blizzard have implemented now. It’s completely insane. And all of it is only done to appease some 1%ers who’ve bought that stuff through the BMAH. I think that’s insanity; balancing and catering around 1% of the playerbase.

Yeah true, and it’s clear that was their intention. Why they feel the need to keep T3 as rare as it was before is kinda weird. Like you say it’s an outdated set but it holds value for some (eye of the beholder right?) because some people felt over 5 mill gold was justified.

Blizz couldn’t have been more clear on their message regarding T3, either grind for it or pay up, else it’s not for you. (you as in playerbase, not you personally, Tah)

If you think it doesnt worth it, then skip its simple. There are people that justify this price tag or even higher at bmah just because it is rare rather than being “very cool looking”. There are people that pay for something more unique and honestly its something i almost never see at m+ which is nice. I like that my character looks almost unique when using T3 warlock rather than being super beautiful. There are far better looking sets but everyone has them.

Making it drop from bosses means they had to replace the whole sets at bmah with something new super cool looking, still expensive and unique and give it for free to t3 owners. Would be happy with that ngl.

Actually i like the new way more. I wanted a druid and maybe a warrior set but after havng many bid wars for my warlock set that is only 7/8 i would never try to get another set. Now i might actually get both as i expect them to cost me like 3 mil or €200 per set so why not. I like to have a plan, im fed up with my warlock set not having a set price and head cost me anything between 100k and goldcap. Now its like 600k and im done.

I think if they were made very easy to grind, people who’ve already obtained T3 through spending millions of gold, or genuinely earning them back in Vanilla would be understandably upset.

I don’t get the “people who paid in the past will be upset” argument when they’re throwing TCG items and past promotions around freely and the general consensus is that it’s fine?

The likely reason is that T3 just isn’t desirable enough to get people to inflate their Twitch numbers or bother with Prime, but they might milk a few token purchases out of the handful of players who care, so why not make it pricy.
