Time for resto shamanas to get a 5-10% hps buff and be brought up to par

Now that MDI showed resto shamans are not anything special combined with the fact that they are bottom hps in raids i think its time to buff their hps

5% would be a minimum

also revert the change on Poison totem

i wrould rather they reduce chain heal mana cost by 20% so we can actually cast it without being instant oom

Since rogue, dk and warlock do 8m dmg, better nerf shamans.

How good a healer is considered isn’t just about hps. It’s about utility and healing patterns.

They seem fine in both moreover they are one of the best if not the best for m+.

had a 605 ilevel holy priest doing 1.4 mil hps on heroic broodtwister but they still think they are weak lol

Priest has alot more problems its not only about HPS u see with this comment u see that u dont know anything about healers.
Lets compare some things that resto shamans have and priests lack.

  1. Interrupt shamans kick is OP. and ye priest dont have it.
  2. Stuns and shamans have crazy totem for that. Priest well it can stun 1 mob thats it.
  3. Knock up wich shamans also have on a Low CD everything under 1 min is low cd. Priest dont have it.
  4. Ow earthbind totem wich in some cases can be handy.
    U see the biggest problem that priests have they dont have any usefull utility like shamans have. Shamans are gods in utility. So next time its not about HPS wich priest dont lack its about utility wich priests severely lacks.

Shaman has this utility for years now, before Dragonflight it even was the only healer spec with an interrupt and they were not as popular as it’s the case now. Why? Because controlling mobs has become a lot more important than it has been in the past. There are mobs now which just kill the group when they’re allowed to use their stuff for a few seconds. This is also the reason why they added talents for old CC abilities across the classes. (Like the cd reduction for psychic scream f.e.) It’s only that shamans utility has been more refined/completed over the years because that’s the niche of the class. But now since CC’ing is so important in M+ today they have to add this utility retrospectively to other healers and this process takes time. HPS wise I outheal my shaman on my holy priest and prevoker btw. :slight_smile:

I still prefer a resto shaman over random non resto shaman, if they wanna buff resto shaman i am not against it, go ahead make resto shaman even more meta.

well now it shows disc priest is actually stronger, so people will switch for their +4 healer soon lol

they have pi, a big dmg reduction for the group, more dmg and mote aoe hps

disc priests aint that bad if you dont require an interrupt or stun if the rest can cover it

Well, since your post is based on MDI performance. How many Holy Priests have you seen there?
