Timewalking broken due to squish?

Because the instance was tuned for higher ilvl than what you get squished to in Timewalking.

It has always been a disaster in Timewalking.

honestly have not noticed that the only time ive seen a party member or my self die is when we ignore mechanics :stuck_out_tongue: also are you using your cape and hoa ?

I have only done three of them:

Old Kingdom Ahn ’ kahet and Utgarde Pinnacle were easy as always. Please note that I had no legendaries from previous expansions equipped, those always make the runs trivial.

Pit of Saron was an absolute disaster. It needs tuning as damage is way way way higher than what it was during wotlk. First boss debuff stacks very very fast way before the first saronite rock is thrown to reset it.

All trash hit like trucks aswell

Didn’t have any issues in those dungeons in full shadowlands gear, dunno about the gear of the others in the group though.

Actually they were this “difficult” at the start of wrath people just mainly remember the rofl rofl aoe festival after few weeks when everybody was armed to the teeth with better gear and tier sets.

Haha man there are mobs before boss which casting some spell, if not interupted can kill tank and very often do cause tanks pulling 2 at once. I made as a tank and as a healer and i don’t see any problems. People can only have problem because they can’t fly through in simple way and collect their item from quest.

Nah,tw was easier up to BFA pre-patch ilvl squish.

There are genuinely some abilities that are supposed to do that, especially in Ahn’kahet.

I just did it and it didn’t feel overtuned at all. It was perfectly fine.

That did hurt, but keeping the distance helps.

Oh and that frost giant boss wrecked a few of my team mates hehe

I’ve honestly had 0 problem doing them so far, I think it’ll be a case of how it usually is. Scuffed players who are too inept to use defensive / cds will struggle and forget to make the most of the free stuff they have access too i.e Azerite armor/essences etc.

Did the nexus, gundrak, pit of saron(?) utgarde pinnacle and some other dungeon and we breezed it all. Tank died to poison nova and that was the only hiccup we had which even then we still salvaged.

-static hiss-

Damage is high but I remember it always was so treat it with caution even now. The azjol nerub one seems a tad wonky as the vamp boss seems like you can’t heal through his leech and if you can’t break the cast before he kills the party member, well they die. Maybe our healer just didn’t heal? But seems wierd.

Rest is fine. Pit is not as bad as ppl make out apart from the tunnel bit due to how hectic it is, you just gotta be smart and not overpull in that dungeon. If you pull smart it’s actually pretty straightforward imo. It’s when you get adds due to people trying to skip and failing when it goes south. If you just do the packs it’s not too bad and damage is certainly less spikey than HoL or AN from what I’ve seen.

Not really just keep in mind you need to interupt in those dungeons cause their are some mechanics that can do some real damage if you do not interupt.

You can simply kick this ability, but most randoms even don’t use any interrupts or stuns.

Never had it like this.

Opposite experience here.

Was healing in Pit of Saron… 3 people died to the Ice Ring on ramp leading up to the final boss…

“Noob Healer!!”

You have been kicked from the group

/sigh

Crying about a Timewalking dungeon, or dungeons.

/facepalm

What’s next?

People are pointing out what seems to be scaling failures. I guess it is more visible to healers and tanks, than dps though.

The dungeons are clearly not tuned normally. They are doable, but feels somewhat broken in certain cases.

Which dungeons? I’ve done several and they seem easier than they ever were in any season in BFA.
