Timewalking broken due to squish?

this happens when you play with unprepared players.

when you are in there with people who use heath of azeroth , azerite gear , mop cloak , wod purple ring and tw gear (as many sockets as possible) and SL legendary and legendary weapon from cata (if you are caster/rogue) / shoadowmourne (in case of wolk ) / use bis covenant for dungeons …

i do agree that if you play with people who arent prepared … you have very hard time :slight_smile:

mana drinks dont scale either instantly regen mana really quickly please dont fix i enjoy spamming big expensive heals as a healer.

It’s fine - I’d even say it’s not on par with the original.

There are one-shots… but they’ve always been there… except now they one-shot the tank.

The issue might be - you get a leveling healer that isn’t dispelling.
Most of it can be dispelled - Priests should be cleansing the diseases and also Priests can Shackle most of it. These instances are mostly Undead.

It’s literally the tunnel bit and that’s largely because as a tank I have better mobility than the group, so it requires us to all move together.

But I don’t get the fuss over the packs there, if you pull them one at at a time they’re really not so tricky. The ones on the ramp can be nasty but it’s about knowing what to kick and generally speaking there are only one or two spells per pack you need to kick and they have big wind up.

In HoL and AN the abilities that need to be kicked are generally more unforgiving as they begin instantly. Throw in mobs that put you to sleep and wipe threat and things can be messy.

But I ran all 5 back to back without putting on special gear and we had maybe 2 deaths total and one was on vamp boss and another due to not moving out of charges flurry/kicking it quickly enough.

TW is tuned high I won’t deny that but it’s perfectly smooth if you just don’t pull like a crazy person without the healer being on board. My 5 runs were with a holy priest and we did fine. Being vengeance probably helps as I was averaging about 40% of healing done in the dungeon.

I assume you mean the Spell Flingers at the start of AK. If two of those cast on one person at the same time they will kill them. That’s pretty much always been the case.

And in HoL the Runeshapers on the way to the last boss that cast Charged Flurry have always murdered people. Though they seem to do it a bit faster now maybe.

Both of the abilities are interruptable, but you need people in the group that know how dangerous they are and bother to CC/interupt those mobs.

It’s nothing new though with Shadowlands.

If you want to play around with old gear for it, go ahead. I’ve never had the need for it, nor do I see why it should be. Should newer players go back and farm old items to run timewalking that doesn’t even provide relevant gear for current content?

Shadow Shock is the main villian, it does like 2k dmg or something, along with the massive mob packs, so if you pull a dark caster, I think they are called, you should be fine if people interrupt.
