70g seems really low for a pet with 0.09% drop rate…
You’ll probably be able to get somewhere between 100-350g for it.

It is not that are, 100ish gold is fair price.
500-1000 avg kills to get it if I recall right, those are rookie numbers still for easily killed mobs.
Seen hyacint macaw on sale, no that is rare. And that was 500g and I could bet you can get 10 whelps on same time you farm macaw, at least.

0.09% drop rate might seem low but its actually really not. ergo, not that rare to warrant more than 70-100ish gold.
There was one for sale on my server two days ago for 3g. I nearly fainted at the blistering idiocy of whoever put it up there.
I wish I’d bought it myself, but sadly I’d just spent most of my cash training professions to the next level and had less than two gold to my name.
Having said that, I shouldn’t really be surprised. People are putting stacks of leather and cloth up on my server for substantially less than the vendor price. I’ve no idea if they are simply mindless morons, or super, super altruistic - prepared to sacrifice their own wealth in order to help random strangers on their server
Price is so low it’s not even worth farming it anymore. Same thing with the other whelps - layering made sure of that.
If i were you i’d tuck it away in a bank slot for now. That little tike will be worth quite a lot once the population is a bit more gold saturated.
Bank it and watch it gain interest.
Long term investment. Just like all the 10-19 bracket twink gear. Wait til next year. Patience.
