And who cares if they knew the comp before? The other classes are also part of the comp and they aren’t being adressed at all. They will find the next spec to supercharge with these absurd externals.
My sub rogue did that easily before Aug even came out.
Fire is obliterating packs with augmentation evo and PI, same with the holy paladin rework, i am fine for reworking classes but do it with ever single class then, now hunters have no shot to go to a 20 m+ key, no shot i tell u. Really they need a nerf or strip down PI and augmentation. Same with destruction locks and frost mages the cleave from mages they litterly burst for 350 a 450 k on 2 targets i mean not op u say really.
Well… there’s still the odd dungeon where at a certain level you need mass dispel. And the really should nerf the external part of PI.
There’s a lot of balancing to be done, top and bottom. Mage is just top of the list because its what people have been asking for the most. They are fed up of mage being meta and I don’t blame them tbh. I just happy that mage is mostly fun again. Maybe they’ll come back and finish fire mage in another patch like they did with palys.
That’s what you say. There is no way to view rankings specifically excluding all externals in WCL yet (for M+). The gap between fire and other specs would look a lot smaller without the externals and by implication no longer merit a whopping 11-xx% aoe nerf. Ret and SP got laughable 2% nerfs, while mage gets obliterated based on inflated numbers of an entirely new support spec that Blizzard has no game plan at all about how to deal with its balance. The same story as Nathria fire mage and PI.
Where’d you pull that number from? Also the augvoker buffs are being tracked and calculated on logs.
The nerfs seem fine to me. I’ve been out dpsing good playing who have 10 ilvls on me and it’s not because I’ve been pressing my buttons better. I’m still getting used to the changes.
Totally off topic but have you noticed anything strange with spell queuing since the patch landed? Me and mine feel like aomethings changed but can’t put my finger on what.
5% nerf to all spells plus 6% nerf to Flamestrike and Flamepatch is already more than 11%. And capping flamestrike to reduced damage at 8+ will be a nerf beyond 30% in dungeons like Brackenhide.
I said nerf to aoe not overall. You are also skipping ignite in your overall which will do way less damage. You are also misrepresenting the overall contributions. Flamestrike+Flame Patch are 40% of the overall in the majority of dungeons, with 12-18% ignite that gets mostly apllied from those Flamestrikes.
Hmm that does seem insane. Are you sure this isnt a result from a bug or something tho? As far as im aware aug buffs dont stack and this log shows them stacking.
We know lots of bugs happened espically in NA. When u could enter and exit m+ for auto completion and more lol.
They switched off the entire competitive modes of the game til the fix due to how drastically broken things wrre.
This is caused by the way breath of eons works. The damage contributions caused by one get rolled into the next, into the next, into the next, etc etc etc. Breath of eons only affects the targets of your ebon might though, so again it’s all down to presience stacking.
Yeah if you watch the vods or look at the damage graph you can see while the 2 DKs are doing enormous single target anyway with the ebon mights, the real damage comes when the breaths start expiring 10-12 seconds into every pull.
reduced damage above 8 targets. It’s a soft cap. Probably should be pyroing the trees in brakenhide anyway. The nice thing is we have the choice to pyro or flamestrike on every hotstreak
