I don’t really experience FOMO but I do think everything the game has to offer should be out there for the grabs at all times - with the exception of limited time events such as the holiday season related rewards, which should be available again the next season.
Generally speaking I think people should be able to move at their own pace and grind for whatever rewards they want whenever they have the time. However, I do not think this should result in rewards being easy, but rather difficult or time consuming or rare, as that makes the rewards more valuable in my opinion.

WoW lost alot to me…i hate that there is itens/quest/mounts/toys etc gone pooof due to what ever reason.
I feel ppl should be able to grind what ever item they want. Want to do the quest linie to reopen Aq then let them. Make ut utterly stupid grindy but don’t take the option away from ppl just because they were not born/able to play at the current time.
Ugh i hate it and don’t get the reason.

Let’s be honest, the Elite Pvp set is a long term FOMO that is achievable if you focus on it.
Well, the DB goes back to something like 3 months top. I deleted the scholomance orb in MoP and now cry because I can’t feel like Krastinov wants to appear, which block me to farm the T3 set. But nothing can be done, nobody knew at the time that transmog would become a thing, I had to delete some gear because my void bank was full in MoP. I just farmed it again in the past years.
Maybe you need to lower down your goals and focus on what really matters for you.
They dont want to upset the twenty players who got the scarab lord title and mount you see . The ones that maybe dont even play this game anymore also.
I don’t think it’s so much the skill or time required that annoys people. I think it’s the fact that you had to have been subbed at a specific period of time to earn specific rewards in return for that time and effort.
For instance, I would absolutely leap head-first into rated PvP if the Legion warlock set could be earned. But it can’t, so I’ll stick to collecting other transmogs that can be earned.
Basically a case of PvP: 0 - PvE: 1 in terms of player interest from me, which sucks, because I’d want for both lanes of gameplay to be equally appealing to spend time on.
OP is specifically mentioning this season elite set, therefore my comment. For the old sets I agree, that would push me as well to further play arenas instead of slacking around 1k8 every seasons.
But again it requires time and effort to get it. Vicious saddles are available right now, but the investment is not small.

sadly we belong to the past my friend. this new generation of wow players and even the game itself is way way different nowadays.
think about playing some other game and leaving wow or atleast play it for spending time when your waiting for something better.
its the only way.

I don’t get the "it’s unique- it’s limited " way of life.
I got the undead set from pre nax (i think that was when it was?), i got the insane title and more.
I soooo don’t care if other has what i have. If they want to grind it…go ahead.
If you want to grind/farm do something you should be able to.
Maybe I’m just old but I soo could not care less if/when other achieve what I did…good for them if they suceed.
But /shrug that’s sadly not how this game works…I hate that FOMO has become such a big part of WoW…ruins some of the “magic” the game once had im8

Legit way with the server they were playing on, or legit way by paying a migration to a new server?

During Legion remix it is most likely everyone will be able to get all initial MT appearances easily.
Sincerely doubt that. Otherwise we would have gotten the challenge mode sets in MoP Remix. They have stated the mage tower skins of legion aren’t intended to return ever. Your only hope would be recolours like the Druid skin and the Druids only really got the fel bear because a druid form is something different than a weapon skin.

First of all it havent been confirmed that we get a legion remix. Secondly the mt apperances should not be comming since the cm sets in mist didnt came either.
If it comes many are not skilled to do mt and will make crybaby threads about how blizzard should nerf everything for free stuff. Fomo is something that is player generated.

The Legion MT was easier then current as you could over gear it and cheese it please do not pretend it was hard. Only thing i will agree on is the comment about CM gear didnt come with MoP.
Im am not saying it was hard, i am saying that i will see many treads on how blizzard should nerf mt if it comes because many wants free gear and they cant even do current mt challenge.
But if it is like last remix with how the gems worked it will be easy and tbh it was not hard for many specs when it was current. Only very few specs needed a couple legies to beat the MT in legion, the current one is much harder and even then its watered down with hero talents.
And MT will not even be there so its a mute point as neither was CM in MoP.
