To the guy who made the new "popular" route for Priory

I just want to say. I hope you stub your pinky-toe on all the tables. Your feet forever tread on legos barefoot. I pray that you feel you got to sneeze at all times, but never actually do.

This new route with this fancy giga-pull, with knight and miniboss, to then “gather and hero”… PuG tanks cant do this man. They die, 10 sec in, then they flame the healer.

You single handedly have spread an idea, a concept, a tumor forever branching out into the community. This route is horrible for PuGs. Worst part? They swear to it, refuse to steer away from this holy new teaching. No matter how much you beg or ask.

What have you done? You turned Priory 1st pull into Stonevault…

Again, again, over, over and over - I now got to watch tanks try to do a pull they clearly are not prepared for. The key starts, 10 sec in, tank is dead. He leaves to ruin another key.

You did this.

I pray to Elune and even to the blizz devs that when you are in a loading screen, that you are stuck there for 3 seconds longer. This is the least you can suffer for what you have done.

Is there a video?

I mean if you can’t manage basic communication in a pug I’m not sure why its the route makers fault.

There are pug friendly ones and advanced ones.

Blaming the route maker is kinda dumb.

I don´t know who´s (likely professional) group ran it, but it´s hardly their fault that every WoW player considers themselves a world class player capable of doing what the pros do with who knows how many levels worse equip and expects MDI level performance from random pugs.

I recommend blaming the doofuses trying to blindly copy people 10X better than themselve while ignoring their pwn insufficiencies and expecting telepathic communication, not the top level players who simply did what they do best in an organized group

I so like the ppl who do the skip in Gundrak… when its longer lol. I go the normal route and have to wait on them :stuck_out_tongue: It’s never not funny seeing sheep in action hehe.

This is just one of the problems that we consantly warn about when people think that copying what they read/watch on online guides will guarantee them success. Like the people who believe that only the items on the BiS lists are viable.

If its a raider io route its being done by AI now after they worked on a program for a long while.

There are many paths put up by different people .try a different one :woman_shrugging:

Ok how? As I assume the OP is not a tank, sooo go into a key tank refuses to “try a deffent route” - >find a new group-> repeat until you find someone who wants to do it another way?

No they did not. It is a good route. It just depends on the level at which you are playing. A 5? Unnecessary. A 12? Absolutely.

With that said, route or no route, tanks that cannot think about what they are doing will be bad tanks regardless.

And same goes for DDs and Healers. If they dont think, they become the “toxic” people you guys are complaing about all the time.

Point is, that route is what needs to be done to time the key. Even with the recent buffs to the timer, it is still a really tight timer.

Can you link the route? I’m not sure if I have seen it.

Not in my gaming computer right now. So I cant.

But what OP is refering to is the 1st pull of Priory. All the packs + luitenant in the fountain area right infront of where you start.

The “Pug Route” is splitting that into 2 parts (or more). The “meta” route is pulling everything all at once. BL and melt.

Appart from gaining time for getting 20% of the count in 20s, you also get 1 extra BL in the dungeon run for using it at the beginning. And it alligns well with 1st boss and last boss.

But in my experience, that pack is not that problematic. The problematic thing is that in order to time the key the tank has to double, sometimes triple pull constantly, with out stopping. And for the healer that is really taxing.

Something I enjoy by the way. I think Priory has the right kind of damage profile to make it fun, but not overly frustrating. Unlike SV.

Oh, thats what my tank was doing since day 1 XD.

Its not much of a big deal if the tank knows what he is doing.

If he dosent know what he is doing, then he will die anywais to random tank-busters in the key later on.

In our cases the pull wasn’t the issue. We usually run in a 3 man premade, we decided to add a friend of a friend to our group who was playong devoker and he kept randomly dying or hovering into Afrika pulling even more. Managed to time it yesterday with pugs though.

technicaly the healer who didnt keep him alive coupled with lack of instant BL and low dps from dps cause it :stuck_out_tongue:

but yeah that pull is nasty

not first nasty pull not last

memeber first omega pull in HoA in SL ? same thing.

either healer / dps could handle it before tank dies or there wasnt a point in trying because they wouldnt compelte key anyone

very nice check if its worth to do the key .

I’d be more afraid of the party surviving the group damage.

Exactly! not all hostile NPCs are targeting the tank.

The worst issue to me is that people who are definitely not ready/up for it try some pro-level pulls.

If people were more aware of their capacities, pugs will be a lot more enjoyable (and they would also TIME these keys)

First pull prio with the miniboss is rough, that’s why you chain pull and then it is ez.
