Then I will say, neither you or her were ever trying to understand my “harsh” point of view or if you were indeed then… I suggest you try a whole lot harder, everyone else did.
I am 100% condescending and not just look that way, if there’s a single entity besides the rampant ERPers and OOCers who deserve that treatment it’s her for the past several years she’s conducted herself
Right. I agree that a discussion about mental health or social anxiety doesn’t belong in a thread about the influence of OOC players on this server, however, the opinions you or anyone else has about OOC players does belong to this thread and shouldn’t be considered as derailing. And no, I’m not defending Zagkush, Kruule, or Mjej. They’re as responsible for derailing this thread as you are.
Also I don’t care about Vaxir and rarely even read her posts because some of them make me visibly cringe. Here’s an example:
Once more the OOCers prove their worth as they summon off realmers to crash an RP event spamming toys, then after they’re out of toys to use they try to “join” in spamming stock phrases like “yes indeed traveller” and “lead the way friend” etc like a broken NPC
Really immersive thank you
Ah Telaryn my lost son but you see it is really your own fault because you refuse to roll out the red carpet for the OOC monkey men
If only you would be 1000% nicer to them they would surely stop griefing you just your fault really lol
“oh dammm think i’ve interrupted something” the Ravencrest player says, jumping around in a brief moment of fleeting self-awareness.
I can bet it really added that much needed layer of visual and audial noise, and lunatic commentary that just makes an RP session pop.
Just waiting on Athramus to break down your front door and tell you how this isn’t true and never happens because he didn’t see it tbh Telaryn.
I have already replied to these posts: an isolated situation doesn’t imply a widespread phenomenon.
Reporting isolated experiences and blowing them out of proportions is a typical internet trend (how many other times Telaryn’s RP has been disrupted in such a way, since this thread was made? for how long? apparently not enough to warrant other posts). Experiencing one case of disruption every month or so isn’t really a widespread crisis.
Furthermore, it’s also a bit of a typical “you reap what you sow”. If OOCers begin to perceive role-players as individuals that complain simply because other players exist, more drama and hostile behaviors are to be expected.
It’s nothing that we haven’t touched before. I’m more worried about people spreading intolerance rather than a guy being unable to be immersed for 20-30 minutes out of his daily three-hours RP.

I’ll bite on your oxygen thieving ways, dragon man.
If this is true then this thread has genuinely sprouted from years of griefing. In which case shouldn’t you be victim blaming the oocers?
The fact that a principle exists doesn’t mean that it should always be applied, or that it applies in all situations.
We all know these threads wouldn’t be here if people weren’t out for drama.
Because people who grief RP definitely aren´t intolerant.
Nope, they do it because of their passion for jumping around other players and typing “lol, you idiots”.
Sure, the realm doesn’t crush everyday like it did the day this thread started. Nobody’s making that point. Disruption on the other hand happen 24/7.
So nothing that’s not already happening.
I’d usually be sarcastic about how I’m sorry I want to enjoy my hobby, but this is quite offensive. How can you express concern about intolerance while acting so disrespectful about people’s time in the same santance and still keep a straight face?
OOCer disruptions are not isolated cases. It is half the time for RP events held anywhere; and makes it almost impossible to hold a concise RP event anywhere close to the capitals / portals. Mind, I don’t count leveling people OOCers or disruptors, these are people who put toys on the ground to disrupt rp or park giant mounts on characters shouting “LOL”.
The server will be a much healthier place without them and the solution is clear: announce stricter RP rules enforcement starting 2-3 months ahead and provide free migration opportunities to less-populated non-RP servers.
I’m gonna feel real sorry for Athramus’ kids when he tells them to simply ignore any bullying, because otherwise they deserve the bullying.
You are aware of the Paradox of Tolerance yeah? If not i suggest you get acquainted quickly.
Fact is there is absolutely no onus for players to be 100% tolerant of each others personalities in the servers, including jerkish behaviour. On RP servers there is a precedent that RP has right of way.
I have no idea how you can try and turn this into a “ah yes, but the principle of tolerance…” Thing. How about no? This isn’t open society, it’s a private space which means limits for tolerance are prone to be set to maintain the purpose of that space- similar to how ejecting screaming children from a library quiet space doesn’t make you evil or an unjust person.
RPers don’t even set the tolerance bar that high, it’s simply “don’t be a spanner head and purposefully disrupt what we’re doing” aka “don’t be a douchemuffin”.
Yet here you stand with your hair blowing in the wind and the anthems of enlightenment Europe playing presumably because who, if not you, is going to stand up for peoples right to be tossers in a private space where being a tosser is listed as being against server rules?
This isn’t the “noble libertarian” fight you think it is. It looks like “imma be contrary, how thought provoking” behaviour. To anyone else it’s clear you’re just essentially trying to defend idiotic behaviour because it’s the unpopular stance and everyone knows like they teach you in Contrary Libertanism for Dummies school, adopting the unpopular position, no matter how unviable it is, makes you intellectual. Because following trends is for sheep. Nerdy snorting
tbh this sums the guy up and whenever he gets pulverized by the more experienced/intelligent/resilient forum posters he just goes “ah it was out of boredom haha, i dont even mean it”
Our more veteran posters just block him for the sake of personal enjoyment after going on a dumb merry go round with him far too many times
- Rpers can do that well enough alone.
- Cross realm is a thing, so no, useless really, except for disrupting RP.
See the problem with all of this my dearest forum friends is a belief few hundred people can dictate or even make demands on a 10k populated realm.
Typical Horde. They don’t actually roleplay, but always seem to think they “run” things.
