At least when it comes to AH, I´ve found Ironforge to be much superior in terms of travel. If your HS is off cooldown, going there instead of Stormwind to post stuff in AH is much faster as you don´t have to go through long interior, but can mount up 5 meters from the spawn point.
On top of that, IF doesn´t have lag because unlike Stormwind, it isn´t one of main travel hubs for people and RPers don´t generally use it that much.

That is true, but it isn’t my fault. The topics in these forums have been stagnant for quite a while as those who propose them have had very few new ideas. My input, when it comes to the OOC debate, is mostly to remember other people that disagreement about these topics is perfectly fine and rational - they shouldn’t feel bad if they don’t agree with your take.
I am afraid, but this point takes things out of context. Have you looked at the average replies around here? If you keep insulting someone, you don’t expect a consideration about these tones the third time it happens? Yet I’m the one taking things personally? Come on Perroy. This is indeed true in a vacuum. However, with some very shaky arguments at best, it’s hard to see what’s so rational about the stance you’re taking.

Yeah because the nature of the forums is that you can only edit posts posted on that specific character - so if I want to make some edit to the Swords of Orman thread for example I have to switch to this priest
Sometimes I don’t bother to switch back because I assume that being the OP of a PCU guild thread / listed as a character on the same account as Perroy on check.pvp is enough credentials to let people know who they’re talking to

The points regarding OOCers on the server don’t need to change wildly all the time, because they still hold true. And I’m glad that you have finally chosen to say the truth and just admit you are here to be contrarian. As you say yourself, you are just here to remember people that some may disagree without actually having any investment in this discussion beyond that.
So again, you just admit to being a contrarian. You say you are not here to persuade anyone (yet you seem very eager to paint others as hysterical and yourself as the purely rational actor), just to “point out a different take”.

Alas, there are sadly a lot of people that do not understand that a RP server is meant for RP. Whether they lacked education or never understood logic at some point in their lives, remains to be seen, however it is quite obvious.
Edit: It is literally making making a mountain out of a molehill. It’s dumb that such simple logic needs to be explained, but sadly there are many non-RPers that could have chosen a wide array of other potential servers to play on, but somehow managed to pick the one RP server out of dozens of PvE or PvP servers.

I do have investment in this discussion, it is why I am here to remember people that there is an alternative. You are trying to take the cause away (having a principle) and keep just the effect (fighting for it).
This term doesn’t really mean much when it’s basically used as a tautology: “you disagree with us, therefore you’re a contrarian”. If you mean I am someone who is disagreeing with you that’s true. If you mean I am doing it for the disagreement’s sake that’s wrong, and you won’t prove it with this level of arguments.

Perhaps if your replies weren’t filled with “you’re a contrarian”, “you’re a troll”, “you’re a bad person because you disagree with me - how can you be this dense?” and in general more attacks on my credibility than substance in the arguments, the thread wouldn’t derail.
