Well, thatâs because Stormwind and Orgrimmar are both THE main hubs/capital cities with interlinked portal networks (see Mage Tower/Room & the Shrine) + the place where you start/end a couple of important quests (Expansion intermission quests/Legendary quests/etc.).
Allied Races start out in these cities and go from there + weâre going to see a wave of new players spawning there in the next expansion.
Itâs why these places (SW/OG) are filled to the brim in the first place. Itâs more convenient (even for a huge amount of casual RP).
He means the guy you quoted in your previous post barely says anything important so theyâre not worth replying to because theyâre provoking/trolling people.
Tbh, most of your replies evoke within me a mixture of disdain and pity, especially when you adopt these tones. You give me the vibes of a sensible person who has gone through a lot, and has decided to never be the victim again - at any cost.
I always feel sorry for you, in a certain way. I think you must really dislike yourself for acting in the way you do, and havenât really gotten over your status of victim.
Maybe if you feel that people are being rude to you, you should try and just be nicer to us
Itâs true, I canât actually conclusively prove your actual motivations, I can only judge what you write and try to go from there. As you have said again, your only goal in this discussion is to âremind people that there is an alternativeâ. If you were here to actually discuss any ideas you would have responded to my counter-argument to your position in my first reply to you here. You are, in everything you do and say in this thread, the textbook definition of a contrarian.
The irony is that while defending OOCers hanging around on an RP server disrupting roleplay he actually became an OOCer hanging around on an RP serverâs forums disrupting a conversation.
Honestly if there was a button that if pressed it caused every psychology e-man to be slapped in the face iâd give it to my one year old niece to play with.
If youâd stop for a minute to think before engaging your âgotchaâ along with the condescending remark (letâs not pretend you donât adopt similar) youâd notice that pointing out this isnât an âopen societyâ means there is no onus for tolerance at all, instead private domain rules apply which given the server is listed as roleplay, RPers are well within their rights to be completely intolerant of anything they see as harmful to that notion.
So which is it, open enough that the paradox applies or closed therefore there is no onus to be tolerant of anything contrary to the spirit of that closed space? You canât have both.
I guess what Iâm looking for is at least one good reason why I should be tolerant of purposefully disruptive OOC behaviour. What benefits does it bring me that I cannot get anywhere else, I can only get them through being tolerant to these buffoons? Name them. And remember, according to you this isnât âopen societyâ apparently, so I have no overriding dictum to be tolerant as a general societal rule.
You roleplay in the way people might assume you roleplay based on your posts
I have and it was exactly what youâd expect. I imagine that that roleplay + the reception of it has a lot to do with the hard-line âactually roleplayers deserve to be disruptedâ stance
To that I say âLolâ. Iâm not a victim, Iâm the guy who had be struggling all his life yet did his best to stand tall. I never looked for pity, I hate that word.
edit: From that post I conclude that your one of those people who all high and might and looks down on others from his fake pillaster.
