Raid st build should be fine.
Edit: you can probably drop as many talents as you can in class tree that have to do with group content and take all the minor healing/defensive ones.
Prio avoiding mechanics, in your gear killing eggs with execution sentence + wake of ashes + hammer combo has a lot of margin, so don’t worry.
Don’t rush to the egg as soon as it spawns, pull zekvir to it. Your interrupt is still melee so if he starts casting heal away from you, you may miss it.
Make a macro to freedom brann, or do it with focus. With the appropriate talent you both get freedom. This can save brann some damage and maybe die less times overall.
Zekvir mostly spams abilities but sometimes he gets stuck in more melee phase. Then you might need to use a defensive. Don’t be afraid to use word of glory, it’s not a dps race. Flash of light is a joke though.

definitely feels more doable with this pala char, just need to get the mechanics down properly it seems. At least no issue with killing the eggs, mostly just die from me messing up mechanics now whici i know i will learn with practice.
Ret is pretty good for this fight. The only downside is the damage outside wings is kinda bad and keeping wings for eggs will make the fight long.
Yeah, i got him to under 45% now last try, definitely doable. Best try as resto shammy i think is like 89% 
Ok I just went in and one shoted him, idk what the big deal is about this. Used healer bran with arrowhead and amorphous.

Only interrupt the heal, freedom the DoT, if you are low on dmg save wake and sentence for the egg (pro tip sentence Zek and do as much cleave as possible on the egg,ret has a lot of AoE). I also suggest you run Light’s revocation, it let’s you use bubble even if you have Forbearance. I did mess up the mechanics a few times (missed the heal interrupt because he was in africa and got hit by the fear). TLDR you have almost the perfect kit as a ret for this fight, Dot is not an issue and you have enough “oh $#17” buttons to negate mistakes.
No one is bringing me down. I will kill zekvir on wednesday when i have more time to sit down and learn the whole fight. Got him to 45% so its all about managing the mechanics and staying alive. No problem killing the eggs with my ret pala
So you are at p2, he spawns portals so you should zoom out a bit and tilt you camera for a more top down view, makes the portals more easier to avoid, and I think his fear now sends out 4 orbs in 4 directions, also a lot of swirlies, other than that it’s just p1 interrupting heal, dodge cone, freedom DoT and kill eggs. Idk how geared your paladin is, for the last 10-15-ish % I just went yolo and bubble nuked him ignoring all mechanics.
She is 615 ilvl, bad gear cause its just whatever was an upgrade so her stats are probably all whack and the trinkets are yikes. But yeah, alot more managable on my pala then as resto sham.
Eh paladin is pretty balanced when it comes to stats ~30 crit, ~20 haste, ~ 35 mastery and 0 vers. But even without stats Wake into Hammer should kill the eggs no problem, I guess in your case it will more of a test of patience than anything.
Oh and I forgot to mention, if you have sockets on your gear get the gem that improves your crit effects.
Eggs wasnt an issue at all for my pala luckily. Its mostly just me brainfarting and messing up mechanics. But at least i saw progress which keeps me motivated. On rsham i was just hardstuck not being able to kill the egg.
I havent played much pala at all so im probably messing up alot of utility and forgetting to use stuff since its a class i dont know that well. I’ve mainly played restosham always

The mechanics are the only thing you have to get into a rhythm with.
It is frustrating when another class is easier. I remember trying the feral mage tower durimg Legion and being peeved at how much simpler it was as a fight compared to Ret. I just had to run back and forth using brutal slash and interrupt the boss.
I did this challenge without either of above, I didn’t use consumables cause I am too cheap/tight-with-my-gold.
Saying some of the hardest content in the game is “easy” is just being insanely removed from the average skillcap.
Its to the point where I think you might confuse it for Zekvir 1 and not 2.
I’ve played for 20 years, no way in heck will I ever say “its easy”, cause even with my knowledge; he was annoying.
Oh god early Sigryn was a nightmare, and I rembmer that I had a stupid proc trinket that kept breaking my incap on her, meanwhile on my unholy DK Agatha almost died while I was still summoning my army and appocalypse.
