Too few DPS classes can deal with Afflicted

You can do that but given that last week our healer needed to do 105k HPS on second boss in +19 vortex this doesn’t seem particularly realistic.

Then again, it’s fortified week now. Maybe it’s better. I don’t know.

aah right ok gotcha. BIIIG LE SIGH!

So in reality explosives disguised as something else :stuck_out_tongue:

This is exactly my point. By saying just get a certain class you are actively saying don’t take the others. Less spots for classes who cannot deal with an Affix even if they wanted to.

Welcome to literally every Lilíith post ever.

Do yourself a favor and put her on ignore forever…

I don’t know how much heal these mobs need and how much time you get for it.

I, as a retadin, healed it to max with one Word of Glory.

The best way to handle the affix is by turning off enemy nameplates when they spawn, just to clear most nameplates from the screen, dispel it once its easier to target because you just got rid of enemy nameplates and then turn enemy nameplates back on. It’s really dumb, the UI sucks.

You already bring at least 1-2 hybrids even if you have a premade as i do (but i also do pug) because a lot of dungeons have poison-disease debuffs? What you do there? Just spam heal? Or you want them to remove said debuffs also in order to play random compositions?

It’s not hard you can literally just spam your mouseover macro and aim in the approx area and you will deal with it, but it’s about class exclusion.

30 seconds.

Sounds like a reasonable amount of time to throw a heal here or there

On which key level? Their HP scales. On a 17 on my 432 prot alt a word of glory non crit healed it to 70%. Not talented into Hand of the protector which would definitely make it a guarenteed 1 hit heal but that’s not a talent you generally run and holy power this week on hard hitting trash mobs is quite important to keep yourself alive.

Oh right - I was just in a +8 at that time… so I guess that makes what I said irrelevant! >_<

Didn’t even think about key level…

And then you dispel friendly players(most often tank or melee) if it spawns in a pack, because their hitbox conflicts with the mob.

Exactly, see every single dps cares only about the haste debuff and qq about affixed. They dont really care about raging that also requires a soothe. But thats a tank issue so who cares about us and if we get rekted.

Just dispell 4Head

Aaah I had this problem so much, but I cleaned it up. I made the frames smaller, the buffs much smaller, and I decreased the numbers themselves so they’re actually smaller. That part is fun, doing 1.3k DPS and having 4.5k HP and stuff like that. Instantly improves readability because it just frees up so much space.

I’m also seeing some spells hit got 1. Which means it’s less than 100 for everybody else. That’s… interesting.

But yeah, we’ve got a number spam problem. Not one.

I want to have a nameplate weak aura that does per mob DPS instead of popping up numbers. Would look kind of like in Elden Ring but work a little different. But it’s not terribly easy.

There always are those people, reply a few times, but if they keep being stupid just put on ignore.

Dispelling a player without a debuff to dispel will not put the dispel on cooldown. Wasted global yes but I had no issue aiming my dispels on them. Not having friendly nameplates shown is rather important and helps alleviate this.

And then people die because I’m using friendly nameplates to see people’s HP in combat, to see if I need to heal them or not.

If I had to stare at the party frames constantly to see people’s HP, I’d be less effective at playing the dungeon.
