Too late to start playing?

I recently downloaded wow again and not too sure if it’s too late to start playing? It feels like most of the players in the game are currently lvl cap and has gone through all raids. Is it too late?

It’s never too late. There’s always going to be people rerolling, playing alts, and new players coming in gradually.

Plus a lot of people play slowly, as if they have like, other things to do IRL that are more important than video games? Kinda crazy I know but each to their own.

I think we get this question every week.

Go crazy. It’s only too late once Blizzard have shut down the servers.

you can take years to level and still feel right on time

on retail if you fall behind you have to catch up on the great Endgame Treadmill™

on classic, there basically is no treadmill. you’re fine to start now, no biggie

The more I hear about how things have changed, the less I feel like ever going back.

don’t worry, every patch or so they introduce catch-up mechanics, which allows you to skip all of the previous content/raids/everything else and enter the current raid pretty much instantly

kinda defeats the point of having more than one raid per expansion but hey

No way it’s not too late at all! I dinged my second 60 today and it’s FULL of players online to gear with

its not too late at all. same content now will be farmed and played all the way to phase 3 and still be farmed further on.

Dont forget we are still on phase 1. You will have a lot of time to catch up. Even if we would have been on phase 3 it would not be too late.

far too late, i started in may and im only level 80

Nope, never too late.
People are leveling alts, and the classic is finite.

Eventually you will catch up.

Retail, yes, Classic no.

I’m afraid that 98% of the avaliable loot is already taken. So it might be too late to start. :-/

You can still farm copper ore in starting areas, no worries

Its still phase 1. There is more than enough time.

A lot of the population are still leveling to 60, many others are just playing casually and going slow, others are starting new characters after not enjoying their main class and so on…
There’s never going to be a bad or late time to start playing.

You’ll actually be joining at a good time, because it’s still pretty early after release but you shouldn’t be affected by overpopulated quest zones.

Small part of playerbase got level 60. They are the loudest, cos of life style and free time in their life’s.
Most casuals even doesn’t use forums and such.
Its good time to start play wow
