I have seen an absurd amount of people ninja last boss tokens/weapons/rings not associated for their role/class/Offspec even if there are “guild” runs with 2-4 people while the extra person is a pug, obviously to help their guildies gear up but that doesn’t help returning players when they see this type of bs.
Easy fix would be make twilight dungeons gear non tradeable.
And also do not allow people to roll on tier tokens not meant for their class.
Fun fact, majority i’ve seen who does that are from realm Venoxis aswell, but probably a coincidence, just thought it was funny because Venom = Poison = Toxic
If you missed what I said on the opening post, re-read it.
Everyone can need on every single item that drops, even if its not meant on their class/offspec or even if they have it already, just to either “help” their guildies who queue together gear up and screw randoms, or to deliberately screw randoms even if no one needs.
This, who cares what I will do with the item I won by the roll, but yeah I agree that stuff which is not for your class spec, like for example tier tokens dropping for shaman, while you are something else you should not be eligible to roll on that, other than that it is just about human decency and no tos was broken
This a 100 times. LFG is so toxic at the moment as a solo player. People kicking for no reason whatsoever, need rolling on gear they can’t even equip to give for friends/disenchant. Total scumbag behaviour, and I have not the faintest idea why this is not against ToS as it is straight up griefing.
When there is no repercussion from stealing loot or booting players that are missing the latest heroic raid gear, how can you expect Venoxis players not doing it? A minimum that is needed in the game is not being able to need roll on items you cannot use (BoP), this is such an obvious requirement and would remove a big portion of the lfg issues regarding loot.
Making twilight gear non tradeable is an interesting thought. If you combine it with only being able to roll on loot you can use, it would eliminate almost all opportunities for griefing.
I would actually prefer making ninjaing/abusing vote kick reportable, but I don’t see that happening
you are supposed to find a guild and do this content with friends.
also - stop being salty about loosing rolls.
you pressed need someone else won it.
just move on.
you maybe will win it next time.
and if you dont - you will buy this item of vendor eventually.
i completed 26 dungeons last reset on 2 chars. got kicked literaly once on my very undergeared lock when i was still figuring out how to play with affli . so no kicking is not a real problem . if you are getting constantly kicked - you are doing something wrong.
in my case - i didnt have glyphs yet as it was freshly boosted char and not having soul swap glyph is a big no no for affli
People like you are the reason we have trash/toxic community and encourage that type of behavior.
Returning players will not find a guild right away, nor they are interested when we have solo systems to gear/catch up to the latest content.
Whether people wanna play in a guild or solo it’s up to them, but you have no way of defending the ninja bull and justify it as “hurr durr mmorpg find guild stop being salty about losing rolls”.
We all lost rolls in a normal way by competing on the same loot for upgrades. And that’s totally fine. What currently happens is unethical and toxic and you only make it worse.
As long as you are okay with such behavior and promote it the community will only get worse and dwindle even further, cata is on life support as is, any chance for people to come back is completely missed by mishandling situations like this.
People pay a subscription and want to enjoy the game, not to get abused/griefed, if faulty systems are at place and no one says anything good luck in the future getting any new people.
Restrictions should have been there from day 1 knowing how the wow community is.
i created today new hunter on cata classic - to level it up untill im done spaming twilight dungeons on my pala for retri gear and then prot gear and on my affli lock ( will likely take me a month of doing 1 dungeon a day )
got into raiding guild by the time i was level 4 .
if you choose to play mmorpg solo ? its your choice - wrong choice but certainly yours
you are clearly playing wrong genre mate
you lost the roll deal with it - when you are raiding do you also throw a fit when you loose rolls ? i bet you do :d
Congrats on your raiding guild as level 4. Completely irrelevant tho.
Going solo into dungeons isn’t choosing to play solo the game. Raiding pugs are a thing in case you are new around here. Some people prefer that way due to no Loot Council and no specific raiding hours/days restriction.
Reading comprehension is what you suffer from and it clearly shows.
No one here complains about losing legitimate rolls against other people.
It’s the whole ninja thing when people NEED on tier tokens that are not meant for their class either out of spite to troll other people in the dungeons, or need it on behalf on their friend, or guildie.
You shouldn’t be able to roll on a tier token your character cannot even use
Dungeon loot shouldn’t be tradeable to begin with so people don’t ninja stuff just because their friend/guildie who is with them needs it.
Reply when you understand the whole point of the thread and don’t derail it any further with your nonsense, unless you desire a forum suspension.
Yea its always Venoxis. Must be a pure coincidence that its a German realm. People paying others to kick the other class so they can be the sole dice roller on that 100 frag weapon. Whenever I get a guild group I slack until they kick me.
The only negative about current heroic+ dungeon loot system is that everyone can roll on anything. I don’t mind people rolling on LFR set in 391 gear because maybe they helped our group with their dps only because they wanted LFR set for their offspec in the first place.
Now when people roll on tier token not ment for their class that they can’t even turn in, sell or disenchant, now that is griefing and oversight by devs.
Just wanna point out again that this really should change. Please change it so that only the classes that can actually USE something able to press need. And probably also make gear untradeable.
Just played my holy paladin alt and had a hunter taking my bis healing trinket and trading it to a feral druid (probably his friend, not the same guild though) and they both instantly left. That should not be possible, since you’re basically abusing the system to get bonus rolls that you shouldn’t have in the first place.
(Yes, I can buy it with fragments later on in the gearing process, but that is not the point).
Edit: Checked the hunters logs since he was geared to the teeth. Obviously he’s not in a raiding guild, has green logs and has 100% of his DS boss kills in a GDKP. Doesn’t surprise me in the slightest, literal bums of Azeroth.
2nd edit, 3 days later: Queued into a 4 man premade from Mirage Raceway in Twilight dungeons. Clear guild boost run for a low geared priest doing abysmal dps. The priest needed on everything possible (including Gurthalak, this was Stonecore). I know I couldn’t say a word about it since that’d get me kicked within a second. Atleast I wasn’t sharing his token, then I would have been kicked in an instant, I guess. The only two options you have in this case is basically to just play along and atleast get some currency for finishing the dungeon (best case scenario, if they don’t come up with a reason to kick you before finishing), or just leave immediately and go do something else for 30 min and try again later. Kinda sucks, ngl. I put them all on ignore before pulling last boss, though. Which is only gonna help me on that specific alt, not on other toons.
Just had a guildless semi pvp warrior moaning in broken english the entire run about not skipping optional bosses. After the last boss, he pressed need on everything including a bis healing trinket and vanq token, and ofc won it. His dps was mediocre at best. Just another week of VP capping in RDF, fun times!
Edit: Saw the warrior disenchanting afterwards in Stormwind (he was on my server). Perhaps I should inspect everyone at start and votekick anyone with ring enchants, just as a precaution to not have every useful piece of gear ninja’d and disenchanted.
Edit 2: Just lost Souldrinker on my warrior to a priest (assuming he ninja’d it to his low geared warrior guildie for his offspec or something). Second Souldrinker I lose, btw.
At this point I guess the loot system in RDF should be considered free for all since everyone is just needing on literally anything without any regard for anything.
there was this nice guy who was giving away 55g to “people in need” at the Stormwind fountain, this went for 2-3 days, i went there to simply confirm what i was expecting to see, i see a 40ish dwarf thanking him, i compare achievements, the dude -the dwarf “in need”- had 13k points. i would be ashamed for real to take his gold, you can always use more gold yes, but being “in need” ? that’s gold out of the pockets of people who are really in need
