So here is the full run movie, including initial picking up L8 so people won’t say its bogged. 250% speed, blurred lower UI because of Advice Andy’s (I really don’t wanna hear advices you could do this, you could do that).

Yep i failed once with skip. Failed once with boss, this was my overall second attempt. Entire run 27 minutes.
Why? Because with anima powers is not a challenge. Hunter doesn’t even have fun anima powers anyways.
And I totally understand some classes can struggle even with anima powers.
Thrall is there because I didn’t do scenario before.

It’s not really interesting to watch except for last boss anyways I just skipped pretty much every floor entirely. Only the last boss was somewhat hard.
People have been saying its a matter of getting right anima powers where it’s not really true. First and foremost is the class you play, then your gear and there anima powers. Which is what is fundamentally wrong with torghast.
No, you are over-geared for the content - I don’t see how this run is relevant to 95% of the player base.

yeah this, I made 8 30 Ilvls less than this, as a prot warri though and it was quite the challenge (and fun)
205 isn’t really overgearing considering I don’t even have leggo for BM (I have equipped leggo for MM)
OK, so maybe I exaggerate … but you’re still geared a lot better than most players. I’m only 187 ilvl and that’s above average.

Because I did 2x HC runs and tons of M+. Still got garbo gear up until yesterday.
Without it I would be maybe 190. Also mail leggos are super expensive.
Then again, this is run without any anima powers. Zero. Not even a single soul remnant that gives you 1%.
There are lots of players stuck in ilvl 158-ilvl 171 range on specs/classes that are horrible in there.
I know, that is a problem or bad loot system. Torghast issues are different.
Class matters the most right now, then anima powers, then gear.

How? Even with 0 m+/m0/raids, just upgrading covenant gear with anima to 184 and lfr is enough to get my alts to ~180

Quite honestly this is probably only possible for BM hunters as pet is ridiculously tanky. Unless you can tank the boss for 2 minutes and pull 4k dps.
May be possible for tanks but… well, damage stacking buff mite destroy them.
How is this person overgeared?
205 is not overgeared you can get it via normal raids.
Torghast is awful now. The whole point was too have this Tetris like place that just keeps scaling the challenge up forever until you lose.
Just cleared level 8 with ease. The first time I got so good traits I killed the first boss in 15 seconds. The second time I knocked it back with fire blast so much it never reached me and then died.
This is just another element on the boring to-do list. There is no real challenge left at all. I can’t even ask for it.
Why was the difficulty a problem? People don’t complain about hard mythic raids or 2.1k PvP even though it means they don’t get BiS.
It’s one thing that people were entitled, but it’s another that they were selectively entitled. It’s crazy.

The eternal question. You can get to 205 from Normal raid, but how many players do Normal raid? Torghast is supposed to be mainstream game content, not end-game content. It’s a question for the devs, I guess. Did they tune Layer 8 for 205? Or did they tune it for 185 as that’s what most players running non end-game content can readily reach rn.
