The point of Torghast is to see how far you can get before it becomes impossible.
It is suposed to be endless even, now that is not the case, and i do agree, no rewards on a fail is also terrible.
But no the last layers are definetly endgame content.
I like challenging content. I got Visions FoS just from gearing up through the Visons themselves. I also didn’t want the Torghast nerf (see earlier post in different thread).
I get annoyed, though, at players who gear up through M+ and raids and come on the forum saying how easy the content is when the content is designed for middling players as well.
Its only challenging for certain classes. The main thing was that each run was suppose to be different, it’s not. We were suppose to get cool powers, we didn’t.
People cry because blizzard missed the point of having roguelike solo content by half of earth’s radius.
People wanted player housing, we got garrisons. Which were absolute opposite of player housing.
People wanted challenging solo content, blizz tried to do roguelike dungeon. IDK, have they played any roguelike before? Like anything?
I know it’s not very scientific, but I go by Wowprogress to see “typical” ilvl and dps. I gear up through casual content but take the game quite seriously non-the-less. I reckon that if my ilvl is above average for my class / server then I’m at the peak of the bell-shaped curve, if not a little higher. That is currently the case.
I believe OP did a great job there, no need to play it down.
At the same time I dont believe legendaries should be gate keeped even from the least prepared champions though and there should have been alternative ways to farm ash.
WoW playerbase is much more than elitist jerks and twitch streamers, options for everyone should be available.
Class matters, but noone is pointing a gun to your head saying you have to run solo.
As visions, it’s supposed to be a group activity that some class by nature can solo, as much as a ton of other stuff in game that favours class X rather than class Y.
Sure. Then again, have you played some roguelike games recently? Like modern games? You would be squished to dust if you didn’t pick powers. No matter what you play. Then each run is fairly different because of powers you pick.
Yes, I guess so. Blizz should have opened up higher levels sooner rather than time-gating and locking the best players out of the levels they want to be playing. The time-gating aspect of SL seems to be one of the biggest problems for many players on forums.
How is 187 above avregae? M0 drops 184, honor gear is also 184? I would say 195-200is average rn for most people that do more content than world quests…
It was a problem because it wasn’t fun for more than 1 floor. Going through wave after wave of the exact same enemies with the exact same power stops being fun really quickly. And then it becomes a tedious chore. Now at least it is a somewhat quicker chore…
