I’m curious to see how much /played you guys have across all of your chars. The easiest way to do this is to use the Altoholic addon. Just log in to all of your toons briefly and the addon will tell you the total time played.
can you also tell me which char is your most played char (and how many hours / days)?
I’m currently on 729 days (= 17500 hours) played.

Almost 13 years and sub cancelled.
Started on Legion release (30th Aug '16 I think) , just hit 370 days… too much
370 days since legion is aloooooooot of time invested in such a short time, damn haha
Well Ive played since 2005 but it’s only a few hours/week; and it adds up to about 600 days in total overall . Still that’s 11% of my life over the last 15 years…way too much really
I bet that most old school player will have some insane “days played” tho, since it easy took a few days from 1 to 60, if some hardcore gamer lvl up multi char in that time, i am sure that a lone give them 500+ days played (across multi chars).
Add each expansion lvling alt tho that stuff and another 10+ hour for that.
Tbh, havent supriced me if most old school player have around 1k to 1500 day played.
And then we have player nowdays, that can power lvl to max lvl within 1 day, hell, i bet shadowland will bring that down to just 10 hour and your max lvl, so, for them, the “lol, you have 800+ day played on your main” will be kinda confused 
I’m not supriced if mine are around 1500 to 2k…accross all my char (even the deleted one).
But hey, each to thier own, what ppl enjoy spending thier time on is thier own to choice, who know’s, while i have been enjoying my gaming in wow, other might have enjoyed a run / walk in the park, a movie alone, with friends or family or some other activities that made them happy in the moment.
Sure its not healthy playing game 24/7, still, if thats what ppl enjoy, let em

I use the wowthing website which adds up all the time spent on all non deleted characters, not including Classic and it comes to 628.5 days for retail. I’ve played since June 2005.
could you tell me what the website is? Seems easier than the Altoholic addon

Do I have to log in and out on the characters like altoholic because it lacked tons of data.
Altoholic told me 509 days on all characters. I did skip: Cata, MoP and WoD.
That does not include two other accounts I have, but I don’t think those two would add much to it and can’t be bothered checking those.
One was a RAF and the other was to level an alliance with friends on the same server as my Horde back when you couldn’t have two factions.
I had to check and was actually not too shocked! Across only the characters I’ve ‘mained’, around 480 days!
This is getting out of hands. The latest months all i see is Blizzard replies on topics that aren’t important, like at all like this one.
When are Blizzard gonna interact or pay attention to all other threads that’s actually important for the future of the game. Specially at this state.
I started playing in vanilla. I have had many many many alts along the way. Many of them are deleted so I can’t really count the time, but considering the time I have played wow, at times very hardcore, the amount has to be… enormous. 
Across all characters (that haven’t been deleted) - 1,129 days
Main - 599 days
Got a year at least on my main, but half of that is probably me AFK’ing.
287 days on all toons.
