this is nothing new - most succesfull wow streamers are boosted all the time - i remeber Preach once had to change guilds because his guild got tired of boosting him in raid and getting nothing out of his streams.
especially that streamers hav armies of simps willing to send them milions of gold.
if i would be them i would ofc buy boosts too.

I’d argue it’s easy even if you don’t get boosted - my issue is the length of the grind as you get quite little conquest for winning even in rateds, and that you can’t grind lost Soul Ash.
Get your covenant set and finish up the rest of your items with BoEs or honor items, get a couple conduits and start building a legendary, that should put you around 205 ilvl. With that you can start spamming RBGs very easily to farm conquest. 1.4k is also very easy to hit which gives you your first set of ilvl upgrades, after which 1.6k is also super easy to hit, which ups your Conq gear to 213. After that you’re pretty set for everything else, 1.8k on RBGs is almost on the horizon, so you’re not too far behind.

Eventually you stop becoming a newbie though ¯ \(ツ)/¯ BfA s4 was my first proper season after a 4 year hiatus from Retail and I still managed to hit 2.5k along with rank3 ret EU in 2s, so it IS possible despite having to relearn everything I knew about WoW. Just gotta put in the legwork.

I think he said in one of his videos that he paid like 2,2 million gold to get his paladin boosted to 2,1k rating in order to get the 220 gear and then ended up using that paladin in only like 2 fights in mythic progress.

I also paid around 1.5mill to get 2.1k rating from 1.8 . first thing is, there is no such thing as official pvp boost, because it’s impossible to boost someone to a certain rating unless that person has a minimum skill requirement. it’s not the same as buying ahead of the curve, and afking and letting 20 bis geared people down the boss for you.
i could have got 2.4, but not worth the effort, since you only get 233 weapons which i can also get from sire mythic.
Paid to someone to help play the game.

I paid 550k gold for a pvp boost too, it was either waiting weeks for the great vault and pray I get the pieces I want or pay now and get all the gear I wanted, just to be clear I didn’t buy it with real money via wow token, I farmed mats.
Now I boost ppl in M+ and have made like 1.5M in a few weeks so it was clearly worth it for me.
Already started saving gold to buy another boost to 2.1 next season if the gearing method in pvp is similar, it’s by far the easiest and fastest way to get gear and I’ll just make the gold back boosting.

Warriors need gear to be any good. I mean i pvpermed a little bit with 197 weapons and it was aids id probs 1 shot people now but i dont like pvp. Pala is by far the easiest class from scratch

Bla*ing boost have this for 669 dollars. Promising 50 wins and 2400. 12 hours… Every second awc player reccomends them in their commercials.

I have no interest in pvp or friends to play with so it’s not like I have a choice when you see how fast pvp is for gearing compared to M+ which is what I play most.
If anything blame Blizzard for messing up the gearing so badly. When you look at cutting edge guilds they all bought BoEs and pvp boosts.
