And where did you get the idea that Paladin doesnt? If anything, we depend on gear a lot as well since we need to stack quite a bit of mastery and crit to get good bursts windows in.
We can continue the circle of “but ur class is easier reeee!” while every single class is easily capable of a 2.4k rating - you just gotta play well. I mean for goodness sake, you have people like Trillebartom hitting 2.4k with most classes with ~200ilvl, or Crusader3345 being ~2.4k with 150ilvl.
Also, you’re 221ilvl. You can’t say you have bad gear.
I didn’t get boosted for KSM, I pugged it on enhance which is even worse compared to warrior and no you are not hated, warriors get in groups way easier than some specs like mine. I also got KSM on vengeance DH, pugged everything too and now working on KSM on Hunter, Mage and Druid.

You guys don’t have real arguments except attacking people like you’re any better because you didn’t buy a boost, you’re not, instead try to think about why people use boosts and how to improve the gearing in M+ and Mythic raid.
Well we are better we farmed gear naturally and didnt get boosted… no warriors are hated look at the stats… warriors bring nothing to m+… shams bring bl
Youre a boosted player simple as that… saying you got ksm and i didnt when my warrior is not boosted is laughable… your boosted sham would of been way higher ilevel than my warrior and therefore easy to get in any groups ealier on not just ksm groups…

Obviously the whole 1.5 ilvl I got from the pvp boost absolutely got me into groups
I was ilvl 216 or 217 when I got KSM, I’m 225 now, sure I’m boosted in PvP from 1450 to 1800 but I’m really not boosted in M+. You’re higher ilvl now than I was back when I got it and you’re still unable to do it so what hard work and achievements exactly? If pvp is your thing then good for you, it’s not mine, if you want I can boost you to KSM
Look at the stats of enhance shaman, we’re even less represented, why would people bring a sham when fire mage or resto sham can BL and other melees deal more dmg?
Naguura also paid for a boost to 2.4k when PvP was the way to gear early on in the tier
It’s not like she didn’t make lots of gold boosting PvE and then Blizzard created this stupid situation forcing top players (and others) into a different area of the game that they aren’t all familiar with.
Pretty much, there’s a reason PvP has seen a massive increase in participation this patch, even with Valor and more loots in raid I’m certain PvP is still faster to gear.
I have ksm on my hunter why bother on my warrior? And even at 221 i cant get in groups as dps… shams get in way more groups than warriors… i could have ksm on war if i wanted by tanking but why bother if im 221 and have ksm via alt?
All zero boosted unlike you… and as if i believe anything you say youre a boosted player mate… your gear is from being boosted
People seem to not understand the implications that come when saying stuff like:
“I’m certain PvP is still faster to gear”
That is only valid if you are BOOSTED! = not skill = not actually playing = not actually sweating to get that ilvl
I was 1.9 in BFA and I’ve barelly hit 1.7 in SL. Playing only as solo, no ingame friends, and I stopped after I’ve realised that more then half of my IN GAME TIME was wasted on the minigame called “LFG tool”.
Yeah thats why my nolifer friend quit and waiting for patch likemany people - he had both pve achieves and dont want to grind something irelevant next patch.
One of the problems is that blizzards stats will be skewed by boosted players completing content earlier than would be possible otherwise and sometimes content they would never complete. Likely this skews tuning to the overtuned side.
As for people who pay for pvp boosts and then try to claim they aren’t pve boosted, well, have fun kidding yourselves. I don’t think the non boosted/ non booster base is ever going to be fooled though.
I was playing during the boost and it barely took a couple of hours, like you I’m playing solo and have no friends so after spending hours in LFG being declined because I had no xp I gave up and bought a boost.
But regardless, even with valor and more loots in raid PvP is still the fastest way to gear currently, you could reach 2.1k in a matter of days and reach conquest cap to buy your gear (which you can target easily compared to pve), there’s simply nothing that compares to that in pve.
That being said I stopped at 1.8k and honestly I regretted buying my boost after realizing it was so easy to get there, I was expecting people to be godly there but clearly it’s not 2.4+, I could’ve have bought a couple of 226s at the AH and achieve the same thing instead, maybe we should start calling people who do that boosted too
