You could say the same thing about players boosting others through Mythic+ for higher RIO scores, which is also quite common in the game
The players I mentioned don’t care about PVP, they don’t care about rankings, there doing it solely to get certain pieces of high end gear they can’t get from PVE, nothing more. Their not going to continue playing rated games , they’ve got their gear there done. Finished.
LOL, its those players who’ve done the “hard” grind done the 100’s of not 1000’s of rated games to get their high ranks that are actually doing the boosting, how’s that crapping on them, their doing it !
You do realise “boosting” as been in the game for 16 years , literally from day one.
Its not necessary the game as degraded its just bad game design…and who’s fault is that
As i dont blame boosting at all, what i don’t understand is when u are boosted to 2k2, what are u doing the next day? I mean, what i like in RBG is to grind CR little by little, improve gear and skill little by little etc. If i was boosted to 227 ilvl in 1 evening what would i do after in this game? Queuing in random BG to one shot everything i see? Ok it would be fun one hour or two and then i would be done
Exactly that. Most are just doing it for one or two pieces of gear that they can’t get from raid or as a too low chance of dropping from Mythic+ etc, then their done, Since PVP gear is “targetable” (as in you know exactly what your going to get in the end) it makes alot of sense, plus some classes PVP weapons have the highest ilvl 233, thats all these players want, they don’t do it for PVP, they just want the gear and leave.
Its just bad game design making PVE only players have to venture into unknown territory, and since alot of high end PVP players do boosting services it 's just win win for both parties, they’re not doing if to harm the game or anything like that, it’s just common sense to take the route of least resistance to an end goal
