Sorry, but it is just as saying: “I don’t get why this hostility over paying hookers to get sex”. Cause sex, like gear/MMR, it takes time and skill to get it

Blizzard created a situation that pushed PvP as the premier of gearing, they need to stop this obsession with pushing us into other aspects of the game.
She was lying btw, cuz Zeepeye boosting only RMT. And most PvP boosting is RMT.

Plays a FOTM class, is placed in a position of authority during MDI and doesn’t add anything to it other then repeating what’s happening on the screen at the time. Tries to make out she knows what she is talking about when it comes to other classes and is clearly wrong.
I’m not saying she is terrible at the game but she has been catapulted into the lime light this expac without earning that reputation.
Anyways we are getting away from the subject. She got boosted, avoided the RIO/gear hell of M+ and got her gear the easy way.
This is not what you want to see because people will just shell out the gold and take the shortcut.
Then we have the situation where they say they are bored because they are max geared and then make toxic comments to players who are earning their gear the fair way.

Mate that’s like the oldest excuse. Ofc you always have a choice esp. regarding something as unimportant as an online game. I’d rather quit than buy a boost. It feels wrong on many levels to me.

I don’t know, people are afraid their achievements will be meaningless I guess, they’ll ignore the bigger picture just to protect their ego.

We gave people the explanation as to why we had to get gear via pvp and they still choose to take all of this personnaly.
If it was a game that only relies on skill like Overwatch I could understand the frustration but in WoW people do it just for the gear and never set foot in pvp after.
If it’s so unimportant why are you guys are here complaining about it?

There are a huge number of boosting services for PvP for gold.
The reason you dont have an issue is because you only play with a fixed team… you never pug…
Every thread you chime in and only put across the point from your side.
Boosted players to pugs ruin the game… it then ruins the economy too the booster dictate the prices… back in cata all boes were affordable for even plebs… these days basically only boosters or gold buyers can afford top boes.
They can even dictate ah prices… recently some booster bought all the 225 ilevel plate items and put them back on ah for double the price
It has a massive effect on the game but people like you who simply play in a closed circuit dont see the issues

I haven’t seen a real argument talking about, or even a mention, of the actual issue we had with gearing, there’s a reason valor was added and raid loots were increased.
I’m stacking gold to buy another pvp boost for sure if things don’t change for M+ players in 9.1, I spend hours just like pvp players, grinding, to get 3 choices in the vault every week and when I get nothing I need it feels like a complete waste of time compared to simply going in pvp and having the choice to decide which item I want.
Flag me all you want… youre a boosted player defending boosted… part of the issue with the game. Ironic you say im trolling for not liking boosted but you tried to have a dig at me for not having ksm on my warrior lol… but you got yours due to being boosted… youre the troll here.

it makes perfect sense. as paying for sex is not exacly something that people brag about irl . yes people do it but most would be ashamed to admit it in public.

1/ that’s definitely not a gurantee that if they got the gear they won’t participate in any kind of pvp even if it meant melting “noobs” in randoms
2/ it is unimportant as in I have the time for it now and still enjoy it enough to stay even if I complain or get tilted sometimes, but also I could quit on the spot and wouldn’t care unlike about things like career or even more real life relevant hobbies like playing music. I’ve had many many breaks playing this game but I keep doing things valuable to my wellness
3/ it’s hard to be specific about “why it feels wrong” I’m sure many people will give you a speculation about the bigger picture of it, but to me it simply feels wrong morally, like a form of cheating, I wouldn’t get boosted just like I wouldn’t use an aim bot, if you do that you lose respect in my eyes

I do have to pug sometimes. This week for example our tank wasn’t available. We also did some mythics on alts with pugs for the weekly quest.
I haven’t really touched PvP this expansion. It’s not an aspect I enjoy and I spent far too much time last expansion grinding essences in gameplay I just don’t find fun.
However, I have pugged PvE, I do play regularly with friends but we also have to pug at times. Most go well, but there is always the odd bad experience here and there. I had a tank leave a spires on a key we’d just started before we even got to the first boss with zero deaths. Other times people have all stuck through it until the end regardless of timing or not. I’ve also had a completely raging tank and bad healer combo. There were lots of tantrums in that.
I think these days people like to excuse everything as ‘oh must be boosted’ rather than it just being the person failing and not being boosted.

Yes there are always third party sites offering gold selling, boosts for cash etc. But that’s not to say every person that buys a boost is doing RMT.

yep, im currently at 1.3 If I am not wrong ( Still learning the ropes of pvp ) and damn this is a pain xD , going against people with much higher ilevel than me doenst help as well, but it is at it is
