The fact blizzard revoked the chinese cutting edge guilds shows boosting is frowned uponā¦ yet we have people in here bragging they pay for boosts in pvp and try to belittle others saying they donāt have ksmā¦ its a joke.

If that big boosting communities - then they release this billions of gold by RMT as Galliwix and other did and do nowdays. People who boosting always grab cash.
They had people in multiple raids at one time, itās a bit more than boosting and again RMT issues.

If you have any inside knowledge of RMT report it to Blizzard, I have several friends who boost and none of them get real money. Itās all in game gold for the boost they provide.

i achieved challenger in rated but with terrible teams who pretty much did
no objective and were āhonor leechingā for the vault pushed it down
and tbh should have farmed my honor in epic bgs
after i got 1,6 and not push more because with terrible rbg pugs you would lose alot
Blizzard knows everything. They ban galliwix gold boosting comps, cuz TOP US WF1 guild buy gold from them, but not tokens just in WF1 race time and not even hide it.
On blazing boost website they openly selling rmt boost. For example glad for 669 $. Also check how many streamers/top players admiring them on their site. Wtf is this? I mean when awc players, mdi players and famous streamers openly advertise rmt boost i feel somehting isnt right.

Russian realms also have Funpay RMT site - a lot of streamers promote this RMT site openly. No 1 cares.

No one is denying that there are services being offered, just like M+ listings in LFG are mostly dodgy third party sites. The boosters within the rules mostly advertise in Trade for gold.
I am not sure if itās a genuine post or just trolling. I understand there is meaning in streamers getting boosts as they explore the game, share the experience with us, and somehow might teach us to avoid pitfalls in the game etc.
Anyway, these are dire times of the game if itās true. I wonder why this is a post from an alt and not from oneās main. Second, I donāt know anybody who would necessarily enjoy paying extra money in order to progress and definitely donāt know anybody coming in a bombastic attitude to state it on the forum.
1/ That point sadly we canāt really be sure, we donāt have the data available to be sure so all we can do is guess on our experience.
2/ I envy you, Iāve quit WoW a few times but thereās really nothing in my life going on right now and Iāve been enjoying my time on WoW so to me buying a boost to save the hassle of looking for friends (which Iām really not good at, mental disorders donāt help) to grind in pvp which I donāt enjoy just seemed like a nobrainer, even now I still consider it as buying a BoE from the AH.
3/ Is it really cheating tho? For some people who are unable to achieve it I can understand but for others like me who just lack the motivation or interest itās more like time loan, I save time here so I can do more of the content I actually enjoy. But from a competitive stand point I can see how it becomes problematic, apparently the 1.8-2.1 bracket is filled with boosters, sadly itās the case with a lot of competitive pvp games, LoL, OW, etc. all of them have some kind of boosting.
For WoW specifically simply changing the gearing method for pve or even changing the pvp gear itself would get rid of a lot of it, people would buy a boost simply for cosmectics.
Most boosted pay with irl money be it through blizzard or 3rd partyā¦ only difference is blizzard making money both are as bad as each other.
Removed gold tokens altogether and cap gold per character to 2 million. This will reduce the boosting for sure

Back in cata boosting was around in the shadows but never like todays boostingā¦ websites spam lfg with boosting adverts and blizzard dont do a damn thing about itā¦
The game token is the biggest thing contributing to boostingā¦ the game is literally p2w now more than ever before

You forgot to mention a big difference, these boosts were bought with real money.
Nobody bragged and I only mentionned it because you were attacking me right away instead of having an actual conversation, which in retrospect was stupid of me. I donāt know why you feel so personnaly attacked about this whole thing.
