Toxic behaviour against Vulpera players

To be honest, it really is bizarre. You can generally tell a person’s maturity and attention to detail by their reaction to things.

Which of these sounds like the Vulpera as depicted in game?
“Small fluffy animals who are cute!”

or “Mercantile nomads, who survive in a land deadly to just about all others, with proven problem solving abilities, a whole grab bag of survivalist skills, capable of absolute savagery when needed.”

Yeah…

You know the really weird thing that I have noticed, is that these people going “Hurr Hurr, Furry Degenerates” are overlooking a major flaw in their ‘thought’ processes.

The People playing Vulpera are the ones to whom the species as Blizzard presents them, appeals.

The people who complain that they don’t belong in the Horde, or that they are sexualised are making a rather massive mistake. Basically, no one is sexualising them apart from the people complaining about them being ‘cute’. They’re the ones who are finding an animal race sexy…who then complain online about people who are playing an animal race because -they- the complainant, thinks that said animal race looks sexy.

It is weird as hell…There probably is a name for that kind of associative behaviour, it would be like, constantly dissing sugar, and saying people only like sugar because it was sweet, thereby showing that you think sugar is sweet and therefore have thoughts you are dissing…

I don’t think they have thought it through.

Oh, and anyone who thinks they don’t belong in the Horde, clearly has no clue what the Horde is, your Horde passport is revoked, kindly play the games from start to re-educate yourself…

You fuel the hate (towards any race), you’re just as bad as the ones you criticize, and a hypocrite.

But don’t forget to cry about the hate worgens got!

Humans will never learn and make sense, I swear… not even about a game, let alone serious matters…

Some also need to learn to take a joke but ok

EDIT : I made alot of offensive jokes, which one are you refering to? cba to check 268 msges

same has happend whit many shop items also, omg you have the shiny pony kick kick, omg you have bought the helm, must try to kick.
it is just stopid people who got nothing better to do, whom have listen to some lame youtuber or streamer.

Sorry, but this “true horde” died in Warcraft 3.
Vulpera and Blood Elves fit Thrall’s Horde perfectly.

Making jokes about Vulpera is one thing. Physical abuse by initiating kicks in groupfinder is a low point. People that play are Vulpera are people like you and me.

@Blackleaf

You’re one of the few forum ppl who is actually serious and is using their brain. It’s like, I can never disagree with you, from what I’ve read :stuck_out_tongue:

I still don’t want to “accept”* vulpera because of their appearance (Warcraft has never been about chars you could see in a kid’s fairy tale, it has had rough and traditional fantasy races, nothing like vulpera look like – so I get where the haters are coming from, to an extent), but you’re 100% right.

*I don’t have to accept them though, others like them and that’s ok.

I will grind Voldunai rep at start of SL when vulpera hype will die down so I can enjoy my new shiny lvling system and race.

Good things come to those who wait i guess.

Such a mess, its like Worgen hate 3.0 (2.0 was Pandas).

1.0 was taurens?

There was never hate towards Tauren. In fact, it was a well received race.

Except for what came after and the stereotype people made of the race in RP servers.

Tell us more about that time, please!

Ha, fair enough. I do like jokes.
But they still kinda fuel the hate (especially when on the forums, this thread proves it, I think), so I dunno.

Point is, if one spreads hate about belves/undead/gnomes/worgen/pandaren/whatever and defends another race (which doesn’t feel right in WoW, mind you …fox chars belong to a kid’s fairy tale/cartoon or something), they’re being hypocritical and don’t make much sense indeed. You either choose to accept hate towards all races or you condemn the behaviour in general, imo.

Something something tauren guilds have something something ERP all male parties in dungeons something something

Which were given the stereotype that most male tauren are :rainbow: Weird times :grimacing:

My fox internet persona is very angery right now

Lol at the people who think that Vulpera aren’t Horde material.

Since Warcraft III that the Horde are for misfits who have nowhere else to go and wish to join. Do you remember how the Tauren joined the Horde? Thrall just came upon Cairne needing help with the centaurs. Since then the Tauren are part of the Horde.
Or the Forsaken, who are undead that broke free from the Lich King and were not accepted back by their families, so they had nowhere else to go.

As far as I can see, Vulpera are as much as Horde material as any other race you can argument for.
Just because they are small fox-like humanoids who might attract a very small minority of people with specific fetishes which might not even be toxic at all doesn’t exclude them from the Horde nor excuses toxic behaviour towards people who like the race.

It actually reminds me of a real life issue that most people don’t want to be associated with.
