Your lucky that i like to be treated as a pet … >:(
Most people treat their pets better than their partners to be fair.
Sorry, must have pressed reply to you by mistake.
All good mate
Yep. Welcome to Moon-Guard & Argent-Dawn.
That reminds me that I’m still waiting for my Tauren to be transferred to AD for a cheaper price. I have to save all the money because I’m going to mass transfer the last Horde-characters over from Draenor-EU to AD.
I can’t (or don’t want to) know why others hate them so much, but I dislike them purely because of their appearance (haven’t done content about them so I can’t judge them in any other way), they look nothing like traditional WoW races.
This thread grows faster than High Elf request
Because its hip to join the furry hate train instead of developing an opinion of their own
I have done their storyline in Vol’dun one or two times. I don’t remember most of it, but they are your standard nomad race.
I also don’t like how they look, they are not my style at all - but in a world with things like Murlocs and Gnolls, I woldn’t say they don’t look like traditional WoW races.
Gnolls and Murlocs have low intellect which goes with their savage looks, Vulperas being intelligent makes sense being “prettier”.
Hmmm can’t remember if you were among the ones who were ironic/hostile to that belf poster because of their race, but I think that was it.
Anyway, nvm! It’s not like I wanna be in the post police (just wanna make some think a bit deeper), nor we can magically make the hate disappear, even if we try… but I do think we should be trying harder instead of being quick to join the hate bandwagon, for fun or more seriously.
And tbh as a former belf player I kinda envy the support vulpera get atm!111!2
aww is your feeling hurt, do you need a safe space? want a decaf soy latte with sprinkles on top too? grow up.
wow players are dicks
Murlocs as they were in WC3 and old WoW places, or murlocs like the battle pets?
Anyway, I’m sure I’ll get 100% used to them sooner or later, I used to dislike DKs too and now I even have 2-3 of them (for their unique skin colors, but still).
For now it’d be the last race I’d want to play though, I’d rather level my first female tauren/dwarf (especially with the upcoming customization options) before I play a vulpera. Whatever, that’s just me.
Regardless, I’d say we’ll have to wait to see for how long vulpies will be popular, too. I suspect that many will even pay real money to race change, eventually.
Not all of them
You sound like you need to grow up tbh. Supporting immature/stupid behavior in any way indicates that, at least.
Probably best to ignore the troll.
It’ll just be "something something ‘triggered’, something something ‘snowflake’.
Thousand-yard stares at FFXIV loli race
Absolutely
Hey, I’d kick vulpera from my group too, can’t blame them. Luckily I don’t have to group with them, which is a blessing. As a bonus, I get to kill any that I spot in the outside world as well.
Well, thank you for that, I will take that as the compliment it sounded like (now gimme my MVP status Blizzard! I joke, I do not necessarily covet that often thankless task).
I just like to think of things as they are depicted in game, Vulpera are not essentially any more ridiculous than Tauren or Worgen, or Pandaren, I mean, sure, playing on an RP realm, Brigante has not actually met a Vulpera yet, he will be curious, but will base his views on them dependent upon ‘first contact’ so to say. He certainly won’t think of them as ‘cute’ because, well, they’re not Elves. Or Female universally. He doesn’t find female Tauren cute either, or even Human females, He’s rather vanilla in being straight, and only finding his own species attractive. Doesn’t mean he thinks they are ‘useless’. As a Farstrider he will probably be pretty interested in learning from them, their techniques of desert survival, in which they will be much more skilled than he, given that he lives in a forested nation in eternal Spring. He also is not the leader of the Sin’dorei, the leader of the Sin’dorei (Who he firmly believes should be crowned as King) has agreed that the Vulpera are a worthy addition to the Horde, so as a good patriot he will fall in line with what his leader believes, unless every Vulpera he meets is a thorough douchecanoe.
This is true. If people really did care about “Furries in -MY- game” then they would have kicked off a long while back, with Vanilla.
It is just because Vulpera are small. People equate that with ‘Weak’, which is just madness when you consider Goblins and Gnomes. Without those latter, we all lost. Delete yer characters boys and girls, because without the Gnomes there would have been no Alliance Gunships, which means no victory over Deathwing, or the Lich King. Likewise the Goblins gave the Horde Gunships.
the Vulpera are people like Sinbad the Sailor, the early arabian mathematicians, Saladin and Hassan il Sabbah, They’re a species with such a wide variety of tropes and ideas to play with, they really are a godsend to RP, as they are essentially a -positive- view of Bedouin/Persian cultures, and I won’t lie, but is Kiro not the most reasonable and rational person in the entirety of Warcraft? In fact, he and Erazmin actually seem like really switched on people who are of great value to their respective factions…
Ironically the people who generally trot out these kind of statements are themselves of that generation. You have your safe space. It is the Internet, which allows you to be a douche without any personal responsibility, yours is the generation that invented decaf soy latte’s with sprinkles. Before then we drank cups of tea, or coffee. Am I supposed to lord it over you because my generation had it harder than you? No. Because that would be being a complete Jebend. If the kids want to mock the other kids that is frankly their business, that is however, a rather immature stance to take, and I suggest you look to yourself when it comes to “Grow Up”.
Ehh, just some of them. It is like any other demographic, some are utter twonks, some are actually nice people you can have a discussion with.
I’m still levelling my female Dark Iron, She’s a military engineer/sapper, I have all the mecha pets, she is a bomb disposal expert, totally based on a character from a UK dark comedy show called ‘Bluestone 42’.
My Vulpera is totally based on Sinbad the Sailor, because that concept just utterly grabbed me.
Then you are a bit childish and a bit worrying. What is it about furry creatures of a different species that you find threatening/attractive?
TBH I dont expect them to be that popular once the initial novelty wears off. Smaller races generally dont seem to be played that much, and the animal races arent as popular as the more human looking races either.
Im thinking they will have a small but devoted fan base, like goblins and gnomes!
