Toxic comunity

FRESH have never been for new players. It;s elitist proving they can do everything 11000x better than you that go there.

you clearly taking this personal
Calm down cause the vein in your head will pop up

Ye but we are talking about being in dungeon as 5 people who can decide who is gonna be kicked from group  because they are in the system playing a game together and when something happens there is a tool in that system to vote for someone to be kicked
How can you alone soul can stop me playing this game?
That is impossible to do because you and i doesn’t exist in the same world
I hope you understand this
if not it’s ok just dont take this personal

You miss the entire point of this discussion. What we are talking about is not some fictional scenario of “something happening and people voting to kick one plyer”, but a real situation of a person being harassed for playing a class/spec with low AoE damage, both verbally and, in some cases, by being removed from the group.

What You implied in Your first post, is that by playing a class/spec with low AoE damage a player is harassing the rest of the group. To me, this is ridicculous, and I disagree.

Besides, is there currently any “tool in that system to vote for someone to be kicked”? Wasn’t it added with RDF, which is not and will not be in the game?

Lastly, this:

Was a rhetorical question, but You seem to have missed it.

Lies.
It is not, but will be.
Toghetter with ICC.
Not confirmed but highly likely!!

On the original point, people reap what they sow, I have never had any toxicity in Wrath, except someone stealing my quest mob, the single one, like Trachela.

ah yea. Behold the guy that rather chooses meta specs than playing for fun. Exactly the point why the author made this thread.

go play fortine or some other zoomer shyte game where you can’t even type a single thing or even communicate if toxicity bothers you that much; for me it’s that particular element, the wild west feel that the all online games had to offer during the internet’s infancy with alot of effing and jeffing (swearing) and no filters whatsoever or what you would call a “toxic environment” that makes me enjoy the game even more.
so I guess different horses for different courses

What drugs are you on lol?
Youre playing classic wow because you like to be toxic? Is that the enjoyment u seek while playing wow? While you agreed to the social contract or TOS you signed while playing classic wow.

Thnx for the giggle tho, especially at the wild wild west one.

As if anyone cares about TOS or social contract, you just scroll down and click accept.

Doesnt matter. You pressed accept so you agree with it. A normal person knows that toxicity is not allowed in the game. Especially not the way how he described it.

yes it is, pvp is toxic in and of itself, ganking is. being better and faster is.

reserving loot is toxic.

gdkp is toxic

playing trash specs is toxic

not helping your faction in a pvp situation is toxic

stealing Q mobs is toxic

REally I could go on for days.

This is top level stupid arguments.

You’re basically saying “competition is toxic”.

Please explain?
Being better and faster is not toxic imo.

Please explain?
People go into your group while knowing some stuff is reserved. How is that toxic?

No, its a rmt system.

Please explain?
Playing a trash spec could not be a really benefit to the group but we are in wotlk which every spec is not extremely bad. Doesnt change the fact that other people may call you out for being bad and trashtalk.

If im encountering such a situation, im usually just quiet and finishing the dungeon asap and leave.

Could be. But if you see 3 people jumping on 1, you can better save yourself, especially in the pre patch.

Debatable. If you are on the same quest, hows that toxic?

What stops you?

Competition breeds toxicity.

Anything can be toxic if players aren’t aligned into the same mindset, that is why rdf is so bad.

Not inherently, no.

Hell, even politicians from different parties across the axis can be friends, and that’s about as toxic of a work environment you can get, never mind what we’re talking about a game that everyone plays for fun.

Or well, should be playing for fun, I have some suspicions that a lot of you aren’t.

The difference is that these politicians are more so of the same mindset in how they play the game of politics.

But Wotlk players aren’t. So if you have pumpers and leechers comming together in a rdf group then yes you could say that the mind set differences leads to toxicity.

Everything is toxic to this person lol.

Good lord you’re out of touch.

“Pumpers” (I’m assuming you mean min maxing tryharding fools by this) would… queue with their guild mates to get it over asap. They’d never see the casuals. Unless they’re just closeted bads.

RDF has no impact on this argument either. None whatsoever. Cause the same happens in pugs.

Oh really because the difference between rdf and pugs is that with pugs I get to filter out the plebians players that just want to have fun at the expense of others.

So you’re really just a toxic individual, cause if you were any good you’d already have a guild of likeminded people to do stuff with.

Gotcha.
