Did that done that. A guild full of tryhards was fun in vanilla. Now not so much anymore.
Hosting gdkp’s and other pugs while being able to act and do as i like, even if that means being toxic and make some people cry. That really does make me feel alive.
How so?
Imagine you coming into the rdf as a “pumper” , thinking others will be pumpers aswell. While the name clearly says it all. Random dungeon finder
You are exactly like those people haha, always think you can come out smart if only you don’t talk too much yourself and keep questioning others untill they say something stupid, haha.
Trouble comes when everybodys weight isnt the same, as we are all different.
And then comes someone who thinks he is carrying someones weight, although any weight is enough to finish the dungeon, only difference is speed.
First of all - stop with the cringe use of the word “toxic”.
The issue here isn’t so much that you don’t really do AOE dmg. The issue is that you chose to play a class that can both tank and heal, and you made the conscious choice to do mediocre (at best) dps instead. It’s absolutely your right to play the way you want, but when there’s a massive shortage of tanks and healers (so basically all the time) - it shouldn’t strike you as weird that people are calling you out for not pulling your weight. It’s severely annoying to have a druid and pala dps in your group while you’re having trouble finding a tank/heal.
Time is the most precious resource. Wasting others peoples time is a crime.
Considering there are practically no meaningful mechanics or responsibilities outside of raw damage for DPS in these dungeons your weight is ~1/3rd of the damage output.
you should really think long and hard about why you play Video games. in particular 15yo ones. if the answer isnt “to make friends and have a good time” i would stop right now.
there is no achievement in the virtual world, you are wasting your time every second you spend logged on
