I do find it curious that literally no one whined about mounts being in the game though, but RDF? It’s the literal devil.
I dunno when this happened, but it wasn’t WotLK cause people in queue don’t just sit there generally speaking. They get out and about in the world.
Yes, the world was genuinely more active after the original RDF was added.

The main opponents of RDF at the moment are boosters and people that participate in GDKP.
Can’t stress this enough: they have a monetary reason wanting RDF to stay away. They use socializing as an argument, when in fact, they want everyone else to have a hard time getting into the content, thus being more likely to RMT.
Which is why they say nothing about cross-realm BGs: toxic gatekeepers don’t care about PvP, because they don’t sell GDKP or boosts there.

If Blizzard announced, TODAY that “RDF will come with ICC” these threads would more or less cease to exist.
Heroics would still utterly die outside of the daily long before then, but at least we’d be getting it.

Bug fixers and developers generally aren’t the same people so it wouldn’t matter jack.
Except in Blizzards case it probably does cause the 2 interns and their pet rat trying to sort out everything are limited in time.
I Guess you have point. But at the state of the game i thought the beta test was failure… imagine if they launch the dk Class as original was launched. Blood was not the best talents for tanking when it was launched. Frost was for dps spec and i think they unholy original was the spec for tank but i may be dreaming
It was, they didn’t fix anything that was reported.
Good old shadowfrost DKs yes. Funnily, it’s the only way I’d accept RDF being delayed fully if they went down the path of progressive patches.
I think this would be worth it just to hear the PVP complaints when people realised what DK’s were like originally

Personally can’t wait for /2 WTS Heroic service. It will be the new meta, especially with Heroic+ coming.
As soon as 3 players figure out how to clear all Heroics they will start selling runs carrying 2 buyers.
This is something that in my humble opinion is like botting should not exists and it surely has nothing to do with meta….
All group content that has a hard manual group only enforcement has had people selling service.
MoP = Challenge Modes + Raids, particulary SoO for mount and Heirlooms
WoD = Mythic+, particulary for Heirloom trinkets
Legion = Mythic+, Raids
BFA = Mythic+, Raids
SL = Mythic+, Raids
There is a market, it is not against the ToS to sell for ingame gold, and more recently on retail there is now a dedicated chat channel for selling service.
If anyone thinks removing RDF and adding better rewards to 5man Heroics was not going to end up with elitists selling carries they have not been paying attention.

And where do people obtain gold to pay the services by bots. And how is thia not consideres RTM ? Or what is the name they called. I just hope they wont spoil the game even more as they spoil retail
I levelled on a fresh realm and have acquired close to 20k gold without trying. 7k from Outland Questing and 9k from Northrend.
Acquiring gold is not difficult, and if your not pugging or running group content you have time to farm, or level alts to acquire more.
But yes, RMT does become an issue because some want the rewards without the effort of grinding quests or trade goods. Hell, Blizzard added the WoW Token to capitalise on this very issue. Would not be surprised if they added it to Classic too.
A LOT of folks in classic buy gold. A ridiculous amount of folks even.
The community is incredible toxic.
