If anyone thinks removing RDF and adding better rewards to 5man Heroics was not going to end up with elitists selling carries they have not been paying attention.
That, and starting arena season one week into the game.
Clearly some calculated moves to please the elitists.
A LOT of folks in classic buy gold.
Even better: people who abuse RMT and then deny it, and save face by saying it’s different when they do it, and they aren’t contributing to the issue.

Blizz is not gonna lose that much $ then. You guys are a (very vocal) minority.

Nah, only 70-80 takes 50-100 hours without exploits
Well, until then, Zabra wish you all da best.
See you soon.
Ah the kingdom of Blizzard mmo will fall soon. RIOT is behind the door and it has a full ram up their @@@@! Hold strong true mmorpg lovers! HOLD ON!
To some, God is a swear word.
Lol battlegrounds? As in the battlegrounds themselves or the fact that you don’t need to travel to the entrance?
If I were you I’d think hard about that answer
Ehem I would take a guess at nowhere. As all pvp realms are basically monofaction realms
It’s rather the other way around. Right now when I want to do a dungeon I stop where I am, queue up and then stay put updating the friggin LFG tool all the time.
And quite opposite of that, with RDF I’d be out in the world doing stuff while in the queue.
Do you honestly believe that Blizzard will ever fix the servers, their population and balance? Honestly?
I dunno. You tell me

Yea go figure. You might wanna give that line another good hard thought. He’s not alone in all the RDF threads
Who do you think is opposed to having the wow token in classic in the first place? It’s the buyers and sellers!
Normal players would welcome the wow token at this point, as the hyper inflation is a fact now and the economy is broken beyond repair.
On Giantstalker i see this name on the AH with weird letters selling 1 of just about every item for 1999g… Clearly they haven’t bought from a third party website and agreed to post x items on the AH for that price… Riiiiight? I see others as well, this was just one of many examples i could’ve made…
GDKP = Gold sellers selling carries and items from people who bought their gold.
Gold sellers and buyers messed up the in-game economy and the honest, legit players have to suffer for it with ridiculously overpriced items on the AH, simply because Blizzard have no intention of setting things right and add the wow token outside of classic china.
I’ve been on the fence about a token and RDF in classic but i’d accept the wow token and RDF at this point, not gonna lie. I mean why not? They’re already gonna add Heroic + and make other changes…
The RDF makes it easier and faster to get into dungeons. The social aspect is still there, because it’s not the tool that makes it social, it’s what you do inside a dungeon aka talk to your party members.
But in order for them to listen, you either need to be an american citizen or a high profile streamer. So sadly any suggestion or feedback we provide falls on deaf ears and blind eyes.

Yes, RDF released in 3.3.0. Just slightly past half the expansions lifespan, and some time before ICC that released in 3.3.5.
As often with the anti RDF crowd they overexaggerate.
I have seen 2(!) people here say that they unsubbed.
2 is not alot is it…
Even before I was out of Howling Fjord some people were selling xp runs in normal UK in /1.
So yea, I’m expecting the WTS to be massive.
I don’t want to get dragged back in to this by trolls. But ill keep saying this because for some reason people just can’t get it.
The argument of it coming out halfway through the expect life time is invalid in the Classic life cycle.
The raid tiers are spend up, the overall lifecycle of the expansion will be sped up and they won’t wait around with the game in a content drought because they dont need to make a new expac.
The entire last major patch of TBC classic lasted a little over 3 months before prepatch hit, compared to the original ~8 months. The timeline wont work here, so fine, you wanna cram RDF into the last 3 months of expac cool but the timeline argument dosnt work here.

Thank you! That is what I’ve been saying so many times.
Hence why we should have it with phase 2.
Actually, RDF was added with the last major content patch of WoTLK and guess what… Subscription numbers started to go down in the second half of WoTLK. You could even say that the subscription numbers increased as long as there was no RDF in the game. But that would be taking it too far, because there were other substantial changes made to the game. Such as thinning the relevant content to the last raid tier and to the everlasting 5-man heroic treadmill.

Turning the Game into a minigame
Yes and we also don’t care because we already get everything from 3.1 and 3.2
And also don’t care because Blizzard doesn’t removed RDF for progression content but because people like you crying to remove it.
Hopefully now i can add your toxic community in this addon and kick them before doing any dungeons with them : https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/rateplayer
Actually that would be false. Subscriptions to WotLK remained fairly stable with only noticable dip being before patch 3.3.0. Subs started to raise slightly over the course of last year though majority likely had to do with nearing release of Cata. Ergo during the WotLK era RDF didn’t cause the drop in active/existing subs.
To all RDF haters - put them on single server…so they can socialize with each other.
We got plenty of dead CLASSIC server left.
It’s not officially a major patch but I personally considering adding a raid a major patch so there was also 3.3.5
as an RDF hater i agree with you. good idea.
