That we agree.
My WoW experience for the last year has been being overjoyed the game is including more diverse voices, whilst being cynical and sceptical when it’s coming from the company that values their employees like dirt. It’s the caveat of the fact that being “woke” is profitable now; rainbow capitalism, and all that.
It’s like like Bon Appetit (the Youtube channel) got a lot of controversy for paying their PoC content creators below their white ones, and so now seem to exclusively upload content made by PoC. It’s adjusting with the times and using marginalized peoples as a way of making money, which is an objectively awful thing, but at the same time I guess a good thing because it means a lot of the media I see is now more relatable than it was say ten years ago.
It’s a complicated situation, anyway.

Above all, the main point was that what I said was transphobic. Can you demonstrate in what way? If you cannot, well, that’s a lesson.
On balance it’s good that companies feel the need to do it but it shouldn’t be mistaken for decency on the part of the company.
