Except they do. OOCers get constantly punished when there’s enough reports/time for the GMs to act on those reports. Blizzard is indeed slow to act and they should be criticized for it, but the sheer amount of OOCers also doesn’t help.

Non-rp’ers come to the realm thinking their opinion matters as much as those using the server for it’s intended purpose

Perhaps they do not want to level entirely new characters and start-over with the gear grind. Or, perhaps, they do not want to spend quite a lot of money getting their characters and their guilds moved to another realm.
I just dislike the way in which this so-called community becomes so often complicit in acts of mobbing, bullyism and so forth.
I also deconstruct people’s arguments in a sassy way and they don’t like that. Too bad.
So you mean when there are reports for harassment, not for being an OOCer. I’m not sure if you’re trying too hard to hide that these two things are addressed differently by Blizz, or if you really believe in your words.

The PCU probably experiences far less given only a small minority of the RP that community does is in big city hubs. A massive OOC majority on a server where Blizzard doesn’t do very much to prevent griefing et al is more of problem for the casual guildless dude wanting to wander around Stormwind IC only to be met by a mammoth on his head + an omegalul in his chatbox
Yeah absolutely that is the policy - I don’t think anyone was claiming that every poster on the Argent Dawn forums was a Blizzard employee posting some official stance
Do you go into threads about people complaining about some gameplay change or other and say [smiles smugly] heh… if blizzard wanted to do that … they would … pretty clear statement to me …
I think you can make your argument without goofy replies like this / the “people who disagree with me are xyz historial evil group” routine like:
is basically a fair argument for OOCers on this realm. Blizzard should absolutely be offering free transfers off the server for the people who aren’t interested in that aspect of the game/community
IDK why you need to altpost either. I know there it is super popular to imply that if your secret superhero identity is revealed people will be rude to you in-game but I think even Zaphius (who I fondly argue with for at least 12 hours a day) will tell you is not true
