@Zagkush, yes, they do. But for whatever reason they chose Argent Dawn EU. Perhaps they have friends here who RP and want to do dungeons with them. Perhaps they’ve always been on Argent Dawn EU and just dont feel like changing? They shouldnt have to leave the server if they’ve done said server no wrong. OOCERS arent a menace, they’re a blessing because they can be converted to RPers if they find it appealing. And instead of us getting fewer, more new RPers will flock to join us.

If they can be converted, all the better, the friend argument can be debunked however, since cross faction groups are a thing, and also bnet communities. I don’t call all oocers a menace, just have to wonder why they choose the server.

That’s why I think we cant just go around wanting someone gone who’s really done nothing to warrant him/her getting booted off.

I want griefing gone - and kicking up a constant fuss is the name of the game. If you think my personal investment is getting some random harmless guy removed, you’re not really clocked in

I think it’s perfectly reasonable to reply to threads saying “I don’t RP, is this a good server for me?” with “no, probably not” and that doesn’t have the baggage you mentioned with regards to paying for transfers and so on

Why do you think someone who roleplays is unable to do content? Do you really think once you type one /e you have your power drained from you or something

Even the PCU which has basically 0 focus on PVE can assemble one raid team per faction, and we are - love us or hate us - roleplayers

Pretty much everything PvE and PvP related is cross server these days. The argument “I have to be AD for friends/raiding/PvP” is really moot.

This idea that RP realms got killed because of OOCers has been debunked a dozen of times now.

You like to do this thing where you make an unsubstantiated claim and later invoke said claim in another thread, saying that it had debunked whatever you’re losing your cool over in that given thread

Don’t you remember that one time where you asked me to bring evidence of RP guilds still being active in the other servers? With me mentioning a whole lot of guilds, finding out there is still a small group of people role-playing in these servers, meaning that now there is a large number of OOCers and yet a small community of role-players manages to exist and do their thing without getting disturbed? If the situation was as bad as you and the others claim, it would be impossible to RP there.

You’ve made a misconstruction of my points: I stated there was an RP community which was alive and well, and could muster in total about 200 members. You interpreted it as a sign of “casual RP” being alive and well, which I always denied.

@Perroy, we all want griefing gone. I just dont think we have to get rid of all the oocers to get rid of all the griefers. Griefers are, after all, rper and oocer alike. And I acknowledge that my ‘friend’ argument may have been bad. I apologise, I just think it’s a shame that you have to deny someone a server when, really, we arent in any position to deny someone so long as they dont break tos - and being an ooc player on Argent Dawn-EU dosent currently break TOS. It could do in the future and if it does I’ll be on that side of the law, then.

The point isn’t if the quality has deteriorated (read: it’s the numbers, quality is kinda subjective here), but if the OOCers were those that damaged the realms to a point that RP had been turned into an impossible activity. The fact that all these RPers maintained their communities in spite of being a minority is indicative that OOCers have not made RP impossible.

Technically, there’s nothing stopping you from setting up shop in -Silvermoon and RPing with 1x friend. I would even say that RP in the Silvermoon server would be FLOURISHING if that were to happen
