Toxic group of kids!

There are at least 20 other active PvE realms, with a better raiding scene than AD. There are no other RP realms.

That is the issue.

So go on to explain how that mechanic mattered at all when members of your own faction began mountain on my silly head

Yeah it’s all me etc. I sparked this trend together with Santern easily and rallied over 250 people behind me bro come off

I believe this was debunked

As someone who rp’d in stormwind in DB it just got so bad with griefers pooing all over it, oocers did genuinely destroy that realm.

I respect your opinions. I’ll be tabbing out here though, I’ve got a based gnome mage to level that I’ve been meaning to do for a few days now. I hope you continue to smash the opposition with arguments rather than “hahaha.”

It is just the 7 am BBQ man popping off again like every other day of the week

I am afraid I dont get the reference.

Heh, you wouldn’t get it

Used-to-be dragon role player/ now pure OOCer Zaphius is (at least in my mind) legendary for once claiming to attend a BBQ after getting slapped through the forums

He made that claim at about 7 am in the morning, saying he has to be there in an hour or so

AD ate the other RP servers over 15 years - largely because OOC players began to chase RPers out of their hubs.

The immediate cause of players finally exiting en masse to AD might have been RP drama in some cases but that the communities got so weak that relatively small numbers of players doing that “killed” those servers was because of OOC players harming the community or in some instances because basically no-one played on those realms at all RPer or not.

And then one day, as if by magic, the communities of

all at once decided that they were no longer interested in casual RP

They all moved to GTA RP (Uno beero era)

Sorry? The person was just confused because the AD forums’ were trash talking about everything, and multiple people were quoting his guild posts and then say the entire server was dead. Some of the events you remember seem to be a little distorted, did you check your long-term memory as of recent?

And yet, there were five players doing casual RP in Orgrimmar that very same evening of the discussion, implying that hubs aren’t completely abandoned, something that would happen if it were the OOCers’ fault.

Because those that were looking for casual role-play moved to AD, as it simply offered more opportunities.

World PvP is what made conflicts terrible in that server. You mean “mounting” on top of you? Yeah, these things happened here, but let’s not pretend they are what caused the DB community to leave, because it’s false and you know it. We’ve had dozen of people sharing their experiences of “ganking squads” making RP impossible, and all of a sudden it switches to people mounting on top of you? :face_with_raised_eyebrow: suspicious I say.

I too am a strong independent non alt character not bound at all to any feeble retail mains.

I hope you post proudly on that gnome mage when you get there Thermo. I think the altposting / cringe allusions you were making earlier are pretty much beneath you bro

Damn, another one enters the ring. Will he be able to withstands Perroy’s charm and charisma, or will he fall with a constant stream of “I agree with u my dark master
Ur too smart for me to argue so I will leave”

This is  but also five players wow

My man Paingriever was known to humiliate OOCers trying to gank far and wide through /2 and in our events we incorporated OOCers trying to attack as IC enemies – the fact that we were attackable was no issue at all and it rarely occured

In fact I will unshield for every “ganker” trying to run me/ my guild through in the open world and then that player will never try to gank me/ us again lol

Edit: In fact I will say that I + my RP brothers are ungankable unless a 40 man lfg group is dropped onto my head out of nowhere

Sorry, I’m not referring to your report. If you recall the thread, I did go to Org myself and found out five role-players in a hub. If anything that is a proof that even if there aren’t many role-players, you can still RP there without major interferences.
