Claim #1
Zaphius-argent-dawn-370497:
in general, itâs both the activity that a server can offers and its quantity
Quantity (ie. number of people)
Number of people involved (ie. numbers)
Population (ie numbers)
Dude, did you really make a claim and then instantly contradict it three times in like less than fifty words in your own post
Epic
I didnât realise limits on who posts even existed. Is this the VIP thread now or what
It really doesnât? DB has different dynamics from AD, comparing the two is like comparing apples to oranges.
DB had a gameplay that encouraged, promoted and defended PvP and ganking against role-players. No other RP server did.
The ways in which griefing occurs in an RP-PvP is therefore inevitably different to the ways in which it occurs on an RP server, like AD
Edit.
No? Saying that numbers make a contribution but donât have to be the sole cause is a perfectly reasonable claim.
I have no idea. I just got a big warning pop up âsorrei new peopl only 3 msg velcom.â
Itâs a thing, not sure why but accounts that never been sub get that.

The Venture Co didnât die because meanie PvPers ganked RPers too much.
It died because RPers left to go RP on Argent Dawn and Defias Brotherhood because there were a ton of OOC players compared to RPers.

Venture co was another RP-PvP realm though - it suffers from the same issues that DB does.
Still an RP realm. The only difference between RP and RPPvP is that with RPPvP pvp was more encouraged. It encouraged faction war RP.
Except it didnât. Most TVC players left to go to Defias Brotherhood first if the overworld PvP was the problem they wouldnât have done that.
RP PvP realms sure have it rough. Their own fault even that oocers grief their RP

Both are high pop RP servers
Thank you for fact checking your own post in real time. That shows integrity - choosing the truth despite it meaning you instantly lost the argument ⌠you are one noble dude

I say the difference is you were forced to be pvp tagged.
RP PvP campaigns arenât real role play either you see

Not even in any cities / faction zones aka. the main RP hubs. You can blueshield there as normal
PVP griefing is as easy to avoid on RP-PVP servers as it is on normal ones if we are talking purely in the scope of casual city RP. Different story for contested zones aka most world RP, but I think the main point of contention is ultimately casual RP

I see. I stand corrected.
I say itâs unwillingly encouraged.
