An RP-PvP realm. I think for the purpose discussed here, the two are too different to be compared.
You see, the fact is that we’re discussing the ways in which OOCers can damage role-players’ activities. In RP-PvP servers the ways in which they can grief RP is not only way more effective due to the perma-PvP flag but also due to the fact that PvP ganking is a legit activity, killing roleplayers and ruining their experience is allowed. It means you can use PvP as a way to grief RPers and be approved by the game’s rules.
In AD, if you ever happen to face such a situation, you can just blueshield and go your own way. If these players pester you while you’re blueshielded, you can report them for harassment.
I did edit the post because it was a jargon of words “the thing”, “the whole thing”, etc. The meaning is not altered, it’s just easier to read.
Keep in mind everyone that Zaphius has at least not role played for two expansions in a row and possibly much longer, he has also no involvement in any of the other realms he references here
The big event that I remember driving the most RPers off TVC wasn’t particularly PvP related. It wasn’t even really RP related. It was players turning up to spam spells and nonsense chat at an in game funeral in non-contested territory.
I have never said that. But you’re among the crowd of sheeps that is too afraid to read an argument and understand it, so it has to twist it to feel better about it.
So you’re saying on RP PVP realms, the OOC community are like really powerful / vicious hyenas who love owning people to disrupt RP to the point that it killed those realms but weirdly on Argent Dawn they are saint-like beings who have no ill will in their souls
It’s crazy how that distinction happens. I’m glad we live on the one realm where griefing cannot exist
I haven’t said that. People that come from these realms are saying “OOCers are bad!”, and use their past experiences to make a parallel with AD.
I merely told them that their experience might be valid in their previous server but, as the dynamics are different on AD, the whole “OOCers ruined DB” isn’t a valid point to make, regardless of the fact that it is true or not.
