As well as people I have had historically bad relationships with and who I have had heated arguments with on multiple occasions.
Yes.
Never denied they are technically RPers. Hell, I got a lot of flack for that exact statement from “people who are like me” on the forums a while back.
Again not something I denied at any point. I’m fully aware that the AD forums are a toxic place. So is the old Facebook group.
All of those things are separate issues to griefing however and are ones I would want Blizz to enforce properly in an ideal world. Ihe same ideal world where griefers aren’t an issue so that the negative attitude towards Non-RPers wouldn’t be a thing.
Then I will amend my earlier post:
“This logic in return means that by RPers being toxic the Non-RP communities reaped what they sowed.”
Again, we are well over a decade down the line. It has taken this long for the “OOCers get out” to become a major thing. The RP communities have not always had such an attitude and, for the majority of the server’s history they have not.
It’s more that the discussions on the forums are heated than a genuine lack of patience and have never fully reflected in-game actions/attitudes. Case in point, the Citizen’s Congress guild was given a fair shake and wasn’t mobbed in-game when they started despite the nature of their GM. I have multiple other such examples of how in-game even the most heated people on the forums have a live and let live attitude (at most just making passive negative remarks).
They should also be allowed to RP and have RP-PvP events in the world without them dealing with griefers appearing en masse, but alas…
Crazy how that backlash travelled back in time. Maybe people making fun of your goofy roleplay circa-MoP was part of that cosmic / timelost backlash
This is probably the weirdest one of your word salads - that griefing of RPers is some powerful / heroic backlash against a campaign of bullying while willfully ignoring many things like the fact that griefing of this kind has been going since before you were on this server and that the vast, vast majority of people do not read or care about the forums
I think this is just something you post to shore up your rants, otherwise you’d be very quick to post proof of this legendary in-game harrassment
I get it - it’s just like the 200 online thing. You need to make a few embelishments to make your routine work
Yes, they have
This applies almost entirely to you instead with one word changed. You love your attention
Yes, I think anyone who disagrees with this idea - upon seeing you as the self-proclaimed champion of the opposite belief - will either vanish or flip their opinion to avoid being on team Zaphius
Both are arbitrary categories created by Blizzard to represent a section of the playerbase. There are RP servers right now that have RP communities that are smaller than a single raid group but for some (arbitrary) reason there is a distinction in your mind - it is fine for the former’s time to be wasted but not the latter’s
But your question contains its own answer? “Do you like someone that makes your gameplay experience unlikeable?”
Of course no one does but that doesn’t mean that I’m always justified in lashing out against people that worsen my experience of the game. Take my pet peeve against the hunters from two weeks ago: I’ve been fighting for one hour and half against a hunter that ganked me in all possible ways, should he leave the server because he made my leveling experience worse? No, ofc. Sometimes, these events are legitimated in their course of action.
Does the tank that made me wipe on my M +2 two days ago deserve me lashing out and insulting him/her? Ofc not. It really depends what and with who you’re dealing with.
I’m calling shenanigans!
Charmeleon doesn’t evolve until level 36 and you’d need a level 16 Charmander to even get a Charmeleon. This is clearly a hacked mon.
