If people use it (Group Loot) as intended and it’s just roll on loot drops then it’s not much different to PL.
We are yet to see what it all looks like in practice ofc.
I am guessing that it will be like in old dungeons “need” “greed” “pass” buttons.
Indeed. I’m sure we’ll see once Alpha/Beta testing gets that far.
I am happy after a few weeks of DF release, the forum will become the wailing wall of raiders (evil laughter 
) who claims their loot has been stolen by guild officers/raid leaders gf.

ML is fine for pure guild organised activities, but PL would be better for pugs or communities. At least give the option to toggle between ML and PL, although there most likely will be downsides to that

Plus hopefully there will be lots of guild drama videos on YouTube. The ones that involve a gf are usually amazing.

What about vault, professions, tokens, m+ and pvp? Many ways to gear
So basically a guild hopper will no longer be able to get loot while he is still unproven trial in a raidteam → take some item that old raider was waiting for 3months → leave the guild after 1week and jump to the next one → … →
Yep, seem like it’s about time to bring back master loot, so people have to commit to guilds.
Though this system needs bonus rolls back, or at least “wish list” for vault, so certain items has higher chance to drop as a personal loot.
Why would u bring bad ppl to the raid anyway?
Yep, ML should be reserved for Mythic raids only.

I would say anything above LFR. i dont raid, it never interested me, but i would rather the loot goes to the ones who would benefit from it most to further raid progression. As for Loot Councils, tjats very hit and miss regarding how fairly the gear is distributed

and yes majority of players actively avoid guilds exackly because of this reason .
why be extoreted by guilds in raids when you can pug m+ ?

Is master loot scam confirmed to be introduced in alpha?
If so I will never pre order or buy this garbage expansion, better just stay in wotlk gdkp raids then

I cant wait till we are ones again able to give the loot to the people who need it… id rather have this super awesome dagger on the boomie over ther who’ll gain 7% dmg than the selfish mage who would loose dps from it, but got it and decides to keep it cause personal loot.
