Trading money between two accounts on the same Battle.net via the neutral AH

Hello,

I recently created a second sub-account on my Battle.net account because I wanted to play an Alliance character on the anniversary server Spineshatter, where I already had Horde characters.

I would like to know if it is allowed to use the neutral Auction House to transfer items and gold from my Horde characters to my Alliance characters between these two sub-accounts, both of which are under my name on the same Battle.net account. The amounts and item values would be below 1000 gold in total.

Thank you in advance for your response.

Yes, it is allowed, but there’s a rather high cut (25% if I recall?) on neutral auction house.

If you instead transfer expensive items for 1 silver each then that problem is solved, but you got a bigger one instead: Your expensive goods can be bought by others before you grab it on your other account. And especially on the bigger servers people (or bots) are scanning the AH for such transactions.

Yep. Learned it the hard way when I lost some Horde only cooking recipes I wanted to transfer to Alliance AH. If underpriced, they got bought out same second I put them up, no matter the time of day or night.
Making money is only for bots and mafias in Anniversary, mere mortals only get to solo grind instances.

Where did you see that it was allowed if I may ask ?

I searched extensively on forums and Reddit for an official confirmation, but without success…

It is an unsupported transaction between your own accounts only. You may still get penalised if the gold is suspicious or otherwise.
