Beware peeps. Bought the Amber Skitterfly from the Trading Post - the listing itself on the trading post doesn’t show the mount but I stupidly went ahead and bought it. It isn’t in my bag, it isn’t in my mount collection and I can’t refund it. Others in game reported as bugged so I guess don’t buy it yet

I have not used the support option for years and just realise it is abysmal… either it asks me to check irrelevant faq pages or ask the community forums instead of providing any meaningfull support.
The automated answer on the ticket says i should search the internet because they are busy…
man this company goes from bad to worse.
What a pain it’s bugged, I’ll hold off buying mine but anyone affected should also do a bug report in game.
Hopefully they’ll fix it quickly and you’ll get your mounts soon. GMs are unlikely to be able to grant you the missing mount.
This mount could not be 3D-viewed on wowhead, so I suppose it’s not in the game files at all - only name. How does it look?
I was looking for it in my collections tab and couldn’t see it. I have the addon that shows hidden mounts in the list but no Amber Skitterfly.

Happened to me too. No point in making a ticket … from the look of it, the mount’s not even in the game at the moment so there’s nothing they could do. But do make an ingame bug report

Yeah it’s super frustrating, I scrolled through 3 pages of issues before finding the right one and then I got a “Page not Found” error lol.
Ultimately managed to open a ticket by just going to “item & mail” issue and then clicking “my issue isn’t listed”.
bugged for me too. it doesn’t show in the 3D mode viewer and also it’s not in the inventory and even in the list of the mounts!

Classic Blizzard and their billion bugs. Can’t upgrade legendary either. How many more annoying bugs is this game going to get.
Please don’t make tickets about the mount - the queue is long enough already without a ton of tickets for something CS can’t solve. See my post further up - they know about it and are investigating.
So will we expect the mount in our collection? Because I ain’t wasting trading post currency on nothing.

You’re all so pessimistic and dramatic. It’s not a scam, it’s a bug they’re aware of and working on resolving. It’ll get fixed - it’s a mount, calm down.
I got a refund with this procedure.
- I bought another item
- I refund the new one
- The ‘refund’ button now shows on the mount
- Refunded the mount. I checked trade post currency and it has been refunded.
